Li Fan, carrying the plasma cannon and wrapped in the light of the Moon Spirit Sword, approached the flying ship. He carefully observed from a distance, uncertain what flammable and explosive materials might be on board that ship. The entire vessel had been blown to pieces and, seen from afar, looked like a great fireball hanging mid-air.

Indeed, it was suspended in the air; most of the wooden body of the ship had been blown away, leaving only the metal keel and some debris still burning fiercely but not yet falling into the sea.
