CHAPTER 38

Alisha Chuma (POV)

“If you agree to be my boy, then there are a few things that you need to know and if you fail to abide by them, our relationship will end. Are you sure that you really want to continue?” I asked curiously as I looked at the young man who had attracted my attention from day one.

“Whatever you want me to do, I will do as long as it’s not giving up on you!” Douglas responded, giving me the sweet words that I was slowly getting addicted to.

“Then I will start. If there is anything you don’t understand, tell me and I will explain it to you. Do you understand?”

“I do, Alisha. Just give it to me!”

It seemed that he was more in a hurry than I was. So, I began to give him the commandments.

Having affairs for people like me, if we don’t have rules that govern everything, disasters would overwhelm us.

There was so much that I would lose if I failed to take things seriously, so I came up with a few guidelines that would guide the relationship.
