Chapter 253: Gift

"New Genesis - Highfather?" H'el pondered, his face sinking into thought.

As far as he knew, this was a peaceful and beautiful planet, in stark contrast to the terrifying Apokolips, and the two had always been opposed to each other.

The leader of New Genesis, Highfather, was actually the brother of Darkseid. The two became eternal rivals due to their differences in ideology and path.

H'el didn't understand the details, but from what he had previously learned from ancient cosmic ages, only records showed that New Genesis was badly battered by the warships of the Kryptonians who once dominated the universe, so much so that they had to hide in some corner of the borderlands to avoid the repercussions of the war.

In comparison, Darkseid gained enough benefits and power in that cosmic war to establish himself as a ruler in the universe.

From the ancient cosmic war until now, there had been no news of New Genesis, until it appeared now, replacing the position of Mars and orbiting in the solar system.

"Zero, when did New Genesis appear?" H'el asked.

"Two months ago, twelve hours, fifty-three minutes, and forty-one seconds, it descended into the original position of Mars through the boom tube of the Mother Box, and then together with the Guardians, restored the gravitational coefficient of the solar system." Zero replied.

"Reply to him, New Krypton welcomes New Genesis to settle in the solar system, and I will prepare a generous gift for him."

H'el gave the order.

If he was correct in his speculation, Highfather had come to ally with him, intending to deal with Darkseid.

It was even possible that he intended to join forces with him to attack Apokolips, or to watch him and Darkseid fight each other and reap the benefits.

He was allied with the Cosmic Guardians, who would protect the center of the universe - Earth, but his intentions towards him were not so simple.

H'el roughly guessed Izaya–Highfather's intentions, then turned and began to walk out of the meditation chamber, flying towards the central detention chamber.

On the way, H'el inquired about the condition of Ceri. After all, she was pregnant with 320 children and had been pregnant for nine months.

"Dean Ceri is doing well. She has been conducting biological research for the past nine months. According to her, in two months, her babies can be delivered normally," Zero responded.

H'el nodded. Ceri was his most reassuring subordinate; he trusted her implicitly.

He traversed the icy metal corridors and arrived at a specially constructed cell designed to block any quantum information transmission.

Within the not-so-large, high-tech cell, a half-metallic body floated weightlessly. The metallic body hummed as it autonomously emitted information.

That half-metallic body was none other than Cyborg's body, from which the Mother Box had opened a boom tube.

Later, after Cyborg's escape from H'el's hands, H'el felt that the Mother Box on Cyborg's body held value for his future use. So, he stored Cyborg's body and kept it for research within the Zero Mother Ship.

Zero derived a lot of advanced Mother Box technology information from Cyborg's Mother Box. When combined with mechanical and energy authority, her capabilities were enhanced to the extent that H'el felt confident in letting her face the entire Three-Body Universe.

Zero's learning, replication, simulation, and thinking abilities were sufficient to deduce the physics of the Three-Body Universe, derived from basic physical science, in a very short time.

H'el approached the suspended Cyborg, and the Mother Box continuously emitted waves of information, buzzing incessantly, wanting to transmit out but being tightly restricted.

Cyborg was not yet dead; Zero had been keeping his consciousness intact. However, the uncontrolled emission and absorption of information by the Mother Box, the vast and chaotic flow passing through his consciousness, tortured him mentally, leaving him in unbearable pain almost every moment.

The torment and anguish of feeling like someone was sawing your brain every moment without going insane were already a remarkable feat of willpower.

H'el flipped his hand, and the AllSpark hovered in his palm. Information arcs began to form on the surface of the All Spark, generating electric currents that surged towards Cyborg .

The information currents entered Cyborg's metallic body, continuously inputting information, beginning the process of mechanizing him.

*Zzzz...*

Cyborg's half-body erupted with even more intense fluctuations, causing the Mother Box's information waves to spread even more violently. However, they were confined within the room, creating a continuous barrage of shockwaves.

H'el's hair was tousled by the shockwaves, and his black cape fluttered erratically behind him.

"Ah!!!"

Cyborg's suddenly opened his eyes wide, the remaining eye filled with bloodshot veins, revealing twisted agony.

A pain that tore at his heart and lungs, relentlessly tearing at his consciousness and tearing his thoughts apart.

Compared to the previous Mother Box information, the harassment from the Mother Box now seemed like angels whispering in heaven.

"If you don't want to die, keep your consciousness intact."

H'el spoke lightly as he manipulated the biological magnetic field with the All Spark suspended in his palm, bridging the information current into Cyborg's body.

The biological magnetic field and the information current from the AllSpark cooperated closely.

The biological magnetic field forcibly tore apart all the particles related to the Mother Box, while the information current stole and replaced the components of the Mother Box, mechanizing it into a mechanical life form.

Countless particles were torn from Cyborg's screaming body, converging on the other side to form a flickering, trembling cube of virtual and real dimensions.

H'el increased the output of the information current from the AllSpark.

With a sudden burst, the Mother Box was completely pulled out of Cyborg's body by H'el. The information current covered the surface of the cube-shaped matrix, and the struggling Mother Box resisted the change. The information current continued to counteract its resistance, initiating the transformation of the mechanical body.

Shortly after, the Mother Box began to split into metal cubes, twisting and distorting rapidly like a Rubik's Cube, quickly transforming into a humanoid mechanical body stacked from small cubes, fifty centimeters tall. Its eyes blinked with blue pupils, transitioning from virtual to real, landing on the ground and kneeling halfway to H'el. "Master, the Mother Box greets you."

"Very well, go into hibernation for now."

H'el nodded and issued the command.

This Mother Box mechanical body did not possess the functions of a genuine Mother Box.

A real Mother Box possessed a plethora of extraordinary abilities, including knowledge projection, energy transfer, gravity control, emotional control, telepathy, defense against harm, instant transmission, machine control, life support, and material manipulation, among others.

It was even considered as a computer connecting the New Gods and the creators of the universe, serving as the personal terminal for every New God.

However, the mechanical body before him, mechanized by H'el using the AllSpark, only had rudimentary capabilities such as receiving information, disseminating addresses, and opening boom tubes.

It was the gift that H'el intended to present to the newborn New Genesis.
