Chapter 200: Negotiations

The magical barrier protecting Earth dissipated. Located on the northern coast of the Aegean Sea, about 100 kilometers from the second largest city in Greece, Thessaloniki, Mount Olympus, consisting of 52 peaks, with its highest peak, Mytikas.

The weather suddenly changed. Dark clouds thickened like black ink, with thunder serpents climbing within them, accompanied by the violent sound of thunder.

At this moment of lightning and thunder, a huge bolt of lightning struck from the dark clouds, illuminating the world in a ghastly white.

A deity, with only white cloth wrapped around his hips, revealing a muscular and majestic figure, his face stern and eyes filled with anger, radiating with divine power. Along with his appearance, a torrential rainstorm and terrifying thunder and lightning filled the sky.

Zeus extended his hand casually, a divine artifact formed from lightning bolts, which he held in his hand. With a cold snort, his eyes filled with fury, he transformed into a flash of lightning and crossed into the Earth's atmosphere.

"Take a seat, Zeus."

Ganthet put on his green lantern ring, controlling it to manifest a round table and seats in the atmosphere. Seeing Zeus's arrival, he invited him to take a seat.

Zeus snorted coldly. With a height of two meters, his broad shoulders and chest attracted lightning, instantly transforming into a thunderous chair, shimmering with silver light, as he sat down with firm steps.

"That kid hasn't arrived yet? Has the cosmic guardian fallen? Allowing a Kryptonian to occupy Earth, letting the Kryptonian live? Have you forgotten the threat Kryptonians pose to the universe?"

As soon as Zeus sat down on the thunderous chair, his face filled with anger and dignity, he reprimanded the cosmic guardian.

Especially since this Kryptonian had killed Diana, whom Zeus had desired for a long time, his mood was extremely bad and furious.

What angered him the most was that the cosmic guardians actually intended to let Earth share with the Kryptonians.

"Olympus has been negligent. Earth will no longer be solely entrusted to the protection of Olympus."

Ganthet casually dissipated the manifested green seat for Zeus, his eyes flashing with coldness as he glanced at Zeus.

The Olympian gods hadn't appeared on Earth for many years, completely neglecting their duty to protect Earth.

Under the influence of power, these gods, too rich in emotions, only knew how to indulge themselves, forgetting their obligations.

Luckily, nothing major had happened to Earth before. Otherwise, the entire Olympian godly lineage would not have been enough to accompany it in its demise.

Zeus also knew that he was in the wrong. Thunderous anger suppressed within his pupils, he crossed his arms and embraced his lightning artifact, closing his eyes and remaining silent.

At the Moon.

H'el emerged from the Zero Mothership, drifting with a black cape, into Earth's atmosphere, arriving at the negotiation site.

He did not sit on the green seat.

The black energy surged around him, and nanotechnological particles formed a steel seat. H'el sat down confidently, his gaze sweeping over Zeus and Ganthet.

"All personnel are present, let's begin."

Ganthet casually waved away the green seat left for H'el and sat on his own elevated seat, saying, "The Green Lantern Corps will maintain the balance of the solar system. After the negotiations, we will stop the rotation of the Kuiper Belt and migrate a new planet to replace Mars's position. We will restore the balance of the solar system and secretly deploy protective measures for the solar system to prevent such wars from happening again."

"The Green Lantern Corps will station surveillance, peacekeeping, and guarding forces in the United States."

"Furthermore, New Krypton must release Scar. The Green Lantern Corps will exchange Scar for a vast amount of life resources."

"Not enough. Trying to exchange a cosmic guardian like this is simply wishful thinking," H'el refused.

As someone who could traverse the universe, he lacked neither resources nor any weapons. He had no need for the survival resources required by ordinary civilizations.

"What do you want?" Ganthet asked.

"Doomsday," H'el replied.

Zeus suddenly opened his eyes, his gaze filled with thunder and lightning, looking at H'el.

"Impossible. Doomsday is also a factor that can destroy the universe. You will never see it," Ganthet directly refused.

"Willpower technology then. I want to create my own Lantern Corps."

H'el added.

He knew that obtaining the flesh of the Doomsday was truly out of reach, just a roof-raising demand.

What he really wanted was Willpower Technology.

This made Ganthet hesitate.

The Cosmic Guardians had discussed many conditions, but none had revolved around Willpower Technology.

Without an exchange, Scar was almost certainly doomed.

"We can provide basic data on Willpower Technology, that's our bottom line," Ganther said. "But when Earth is in danger, you must step up to protect it."

"I refuse the condition of stepping up to protect Earth when it's in danger," H'el replied.

Basic Willpower Technology was sufficient; he would eventually have the most top-notch researchers from various universes, capable of developing superior willpower usage techniques than the Green Lantern Corps. But becoming Earth's hero, constantly worried about Earth, was something H'el outright refused.

Protecting Earth could be done casually or occasionally, but it couldn't become a formal profession, manipulated by the Cosmic Guardians.

"H'el, you know the importance of Earth; you can't just think about your own interests," Ganthet's expression darkened.

"I promise you to face Darkseid directly, but I won't become Earth's guardian. The remaining task of protecting Earth can be handled by the Olympian gods," H'el said. "Additionally, New Krypton needs a continent on Earth to establish its presence. From now on, Australia will be renamed New Krypton."

Ganthet's eyes lit up.

Hearing H'el's agreement to confront Darkseid directly, Ganthet was moved.

Their main concern was to prevent Darkseid from knowing that Earth was the center of the universe. Now, with H'el, who abnormal power, stationed on Earth, even if Darkseid knew Earth's significance, he wouldn't be able to easily attack with H'el present.

"Agreed!" Ganthet responded directly, fulfilling their Cosmic Guardians' strategy of binding the Kryptonians as their allies.

However, Zeus was furious. Holding his lightning bolt, he shook it heavily in the sky, turning the surrounding clouds dark, with lightning and thunder crackling, emanating a heavy thunderous aura.

"Boy, do you take the Olympian gods for granted?" Zeus's eyes emitted silver flashes. "Return the three Olympian gods immediately, or the Olympian gods will not allow you to stay on Earth!"

Ganthet's expression darkened as he looked at Zeus, about to speak when suddenly a brazen voice echoed from below the atmosphere:

"Heh, is the dwarf once again defending universal peace today?"
