"?"
Quintessa's black-bordered blue pupils filled with confusion as her eyebrows lightly furrowed. The ultra-intense particle beam she had just casually fired possessed the power to pierce the moon. Even her own body couldn't withstand such an attack head-on.
What had she seen?
H'el's major artery only displayed a faint reddening, the kinetic energy had been neutralized, and the thermal energy briefly left traces on his skin before dissipating.
If it weren't for Quintessa's keen eyes, fixed on H'el, waiting for him to beg and grovel at her feet, she wouldn't have noticed that slight reddening in his major artery.
The recovery was just too fast!
Quintessa couldn't help but bring the scepter she held closer to her eyes, doubting if the scepter had malfunctioned, emitting such a weak ultra-intense particle beam. No one could endure an attack like that without getting injured. It was simply impossible.
"I feel such weakness and pain!"
H'el's pupils flickered with astonishment, an expression of disbelief on his face. He had indeed felt the impact of the ultra-intense particle beam, even though he didn't resist it in any way. Even his cells operated internally without defense.
However, this slight discomfort, as the pain transmitted from his neck's major artery to his body, still made him feel weak and powerless. He couldn't believe it.
Even in his state of reaching the limit, allowing an ultra-intense particle beam capable of destroying planets to hit him and feel pain, didn't that prove his weakness? (A/N: Bruh...)
He gently rubbed the spot where the major artery had been hit, his eyes filled with astonishment and an incredulous expression. He was deeply skeptical of himself.
Quintessa, seeing H'el's reaction, gradually dispelled the puzzled expression in her eyes. She thought that it might be due to the uneven distribution of energy caused by her carrying the Cybertronian planet on her back, resulting in an imbalance in the output device of her scepter, which had fired such a weak shot, not even scratching H'el's skin.
It was just an accident.
"What a lucky one..."
Quintessa effortlessly and smoothly severed the gravitational constraints on the Cybertronian planet, her voice trailing in satisfaction.
Countless gravitational constraint lines behind her disconnected from the gravitational nexus at the core of Cybertron. The Cybertronian planet, now partially dragged out, slowly floated in the cosmos. Its immense, decaying surface could be seen even from a corner of Earth. Looking up from Earth, instead of the cosmic starry sky, one would see the decrepit, pockmarked, ant's nest-like surface of the metallic Cybertronian planet.
Quintessa, confident as ever, dragged Cybertron with one hand and felt like she could dominate the universe, sweeping across the cosmos as its ruler. However, diverting her attention to dragging Cybertron would slightly affect her energy output power. An error in output power of a few millionths, distracting her from dealing with the carbon-based life form in front of her.
He was indeed a lucky one.
"Does it hurt? Only the weak feel pain," Quintessa said, looking down at H'el as he touched his neck. She raised her scepter once more, invoking the terrifying destructive energy.
Her metallic skin's surface emitted a dark and misty power as it coursed through the cells of her body. There was an active satisfaction in the way it flowed within her, and each movement made her involuntarily moan with pleasure and cruelty. The black borders in her eyes seemed to undulate like living creatures as they crept into her blue irises.
Destructive energy flowed through her arm, transferring to the scepter. The tip of the scepter glowed like a beautiful gem, containing a force field reaction of bosons tearing apart. These bosons interacted with high-energy particles, capable of effortlessly disintegrating the moon, disrupting any matter's existence.
Quintessa revealed a cruel smile, aiming the scepter at H'el's lower body, preparing to tear it apart and install him with a half-mechanical body. She intended to make him a half-human, half-machine creation.
'This is the honor I bestow upon you,' she thought.
Just as the spherical force field of bosons formed at the tip of the scepter, right before it was about to be fired at H'el...
In the very instant H'el heard Quintessa's words, a 'whoosh' sound filled the air, and he teleported right in front of Quintessa.
Before Quintessa could react, H'el reached out with his hands, his fingers gripping Quintessa's shoulders. Quintessa, who stood at a mere 1.6 meters, suddenly seemed like a helpless young girl. Her steel-metal skin bore finger-sized indentations where H'el's large hands pressed into her, oozing metallic-colored blood.
"You're right. Only the weak feel pain," H'el repeated incessantly while staring into Quintessa's eyes, seemingly lost in a trance. His black, mesmerized pupils locked onto Quintessa's, murmuring those words over and over. Suddenly, his expression shifted to one of pity, and he started contemplating his inability to further enhance his powers. The obsession with pursuing strength surfaced within him.
"You're truly lucky to be so powerful and capable of becoming even stronger," H'el muttered in a low, gloomy tone. He reluctantly acknowledged that he had reached his limits and couldn't help but envy Quintessa. His infatuation with power lingered, casting a dark shadow over his mind.
Quintessa's vision darkened as she felt her shoulder wounded by H'el's grip. It caught her off guard. While she wasn't known for physical toughness, she didn't expect any random being to breach her defenses, especially not so swiftly as H'el had appeared before her and grabbed her.
A mixture of anger and the pain from her wounded shoulder surged through her. She couldn't maintain her composure. Her eyes flared with intense fury, and she shouted, "Who gave you permission to touch your master?"
Quintessa raised her scepter and aimed it at H'el's chest, unleashing the condensed boson spheres gathered on the scepter. The interaction forces of ultra-high-energy particles, electromagnetic forces, and gravity, all manipulated by the boson distortions, began to crazily and invisibly tear everything apart.
In an instant, the black 'S' symbol formed from H'el's nanomachines on his chest was torn apart. His robust, fair chest muscles were exposed. A profound agony, as if every epidermal cell in his chest were being ripped apart, was relayed through H'el's body. The interaction forces aimed to tear open the gaps between cells and rip him apart, creating the sensation of being torn in two.
The first wave of boson distortion forces, capable of tearing the moon to atomic dust, encountered H'el's internal defense mechanisms. Cells in his chest began to generate immense energy. Electrons within the cells, aided by the activated spatial apertures, provided a relentless cellular kinetic energy, enabling even stronger Fermion matter interaction forces to form a more intense boson force field.
Despite the superficial red marks on his chest, not even a capillary was ruptured, and it quickly returned to its original state. The boson distortion spheres had no effect.
The nanomachines from his mechanized suit, scattered from the impact, began to converge back onto H'el's chest, restoring it to its previous condition.
Quintessa, standing at only 1.6 meters, had her shoulder pierced by H'el's fingers, making her appear like an adult choking a helpless middle school girl by the neck. She stared at him with wide, perplexed eyes, her body frozen and motionless.
"I truly envy your continued strength," H'el said, as if in a trance.
