Little sister? Jaylene Ziel took a moment to realize.
"Joseph Thompson, Thea is the older sister; she was the first to be carried out by the doctor," Jaylene couldn't help protesting.
"A few minutes earlier or later, why make such a clear distinction?" Joseph Thompson glanced at Jaylene Ziel.
"An older sister should take care of her younger brother, and an older brother should take care of his little sister," Joseph Thompson handed his daughter over to Jaylene, "Look, Thea is so frail, and you still want her to take care of Wayne? Is that even possible?"
"...Alright," Jaylene Ziel felt somewhat helpless and had to admit that Joseph Thompson made some sense.
Though Wayne was born a few minutes later, he was now bigger and stronger, and when placed next to Thea, he clearly seemed like the older brother.
The siblings, well-fed and content, slept quietly on the bed, smiles of satisfaction on their faces, unaware that their parents were swapping their identites.
