Chapter 5- Solutions

"Poison Douluo, please control, My son didn't mean to talk back to you," Liu Erlong replied calmly, threatening Dugu Bo not to harm her son. 

'Look at her like a mother lion protecting her cub, Anyway, I'll ask for more for their request,' Dugu Bo thought as he observed Liu Erlong preparing to confront him if he made a move on her kid. 

"But those Spirit bones do not match your request; I need something helpful for me, and don't you know fighting a 100,000-year-old spirit beast is very dangerous; If you think I will help you with just two Spirit bones, then get out," Dugu Bo said. Liu Erlong bit her lip, knowing her Spirit bones would be useless, but they were all she had. 

"Mommy, I'll talk from here on, and You sit down for a while," Liu Feng remarked as he led his mother to a chair near Dugu Bo and looked at the old man. 

'Good youngster, but I'll see what you can do to impress me,' Dugu Bo thought.

"Sir, I know medicine almost learned every book to deal with poisons so about your poison that is painful to your body, I have an idea to deal with it" said Liu Feng and with calm eyes looked at Dugu Bo.

"And here's my deal, those two Spirit bones and dealing your poison even though I don't know it will help you but if it is helpful you have to promise me to hunt a 100000 spirit ring" said Liu Feng directly as both Liu Erlong and Dugu Bo shocked by his words to a Titled Douluo. 

The environment fell oddly still, and Liu Erlong's eyes shifted to a calm fierce stare on Dugu Bo, who was enraged by Liu Feng's words. 

"You know who you're talking to, and those doubtful words are exactly what I've heard many times that makes me so angry," Dugu Bo replied calmly with an enraged voice. 

"I know, Sir, my idea may never be useful to you because the poison has already reached your bone marrow, but it will be helpful to your juniors," Liu Feng said, which Dugu Bo had to consider because Liu Feng could say his poison situation and give a gesture to continue Liu Feng as Liu Erlong was in tension. 

"The answer is simple Spirit bones, Sir," Liu Feng answered, and Dugu Bo abruptly sprang up with a startled expression. Liu Erlong put her arms around her son, believing Dugu Bo was unhappy with him, but it was the opposite. 

"Haha, why the hell didn't I think of that before?" said Dugu Bo as he looked down, only to see a tense Liu Erlong, as he was slightly embarrassed by his behaviour. 

"Cough, sorry, I was just happy and thank you, kid, as a promise I will help and do you know any herb's knowledge to cure poison," Dugu Bo remarked, eager to learn more about Liu Feng's medical gift. 

"Yeah, I know Gramps, but it is very rare to find those herds to cure your poison," Liu Feng said, twisting his mouth when Dugu Bo heard Liu Feng name him Gramps, but he was relieved to hear Liu Feng could cure the poison. 

"Then we'll meet again tomorrow with my granddaughter, and there's a place I want to take you," Dugu Bo stated excitedly. 

"Then Poison Douluo, please take these," Liu Erlong remarked, holding a box containing spirit bones that she presented. Dugu Bo seized the box because he needed these Spirit bones to manage his granddaughter's poison. 

"Then see you again tomorrow, you two," Dugu Bo replied, as Liu Erlong and Liu Feng climbed the luxury waggon.

Liu Erlong later grabbed her son's ear with an angry look, and Liu Feng apologised for what he did at the meeting with Dugu Bo.

"Ouch! I am sorry mommy"

"Next time, don't give me a heart attack, I told you that person has an angry personality, and by your words, I thought he was going to attack you," Liu Erong stated, irritated by her son's behaviour.

"It's okay Mommy, I won't do anything that causes you harm, and with his character, I knew he'd get angry with but it was also a chance for us to have a Titled Douluo support," Liu Feng said, sleeping on her lap as Liu Erlong checked his ears, which had turned red due to her pitching, and she rubbed gently on his ears to relieve the pain. 

"And you can able to see his poison mommy, seems like my compressed ring method can able to create a ability for a Compressed ring," Liu Feng added, turning his face towards her while resting his head on her lap. Liu Erlong nodded, agreeing with what he said of the Compressed ring ability. 

"Every compression ring seems to have an ability, and the first ability could identify elements in a person, improving 360-degree vision, but the downside is that it can only be used within the Spiritual field also in limited time, so why not name this skill Spiritual Detection?," Liu Erlong said, astounded by the potential of the Compressed ring method and anticipating the long process to build the 9th compressed ring. 

"But mommy, I think if a person has a spiritual type spirit, this method will help that person and may help that person reach the 9th compressed ring quickly," Liu Feng added, nuzzling his face on her lap, tingling Liu Erlong. 

"Stop doing that, it tingles, and also it's very rare to have a spiritual spirit," Liu Erlong murmured as she rubbed his silky blonde hair with her smooth hand. 

"I can't wait for tomorrow, mommy," Liu Feng said, a charming smile on his face. 

Later that day, both mother and son returned to the Dugu Bo estate, where they were waiting for Dugu Bo, who had gone out. 

"Did that old man forget about our meeting, Mommy?" Liu Feng asked, bored, as Liu Erlong placed her finger on her cherry lips to keep him silent. 

"Haha, sorry for the delay, I had to pick up my granddaughter, and this is Dugu Yan, my precious granddaughter," Dugu Bo remarked with a broad welcoming smile, a five-year-old cute little girl cowering behind his legs, only her cute emerald eyes peaking out to peer at the guests.

"Dugu Yan, come out and talk to the guests, don't be shy," Dugu Bo gently instructed his granddaughter. Dugu Yan come out, with a nervous smile on her face, and looked at them.

"Hello, my name is Dugu Yan, and it's nice to meet you," Dugu Yan said, Liu Erlong's heart was overflowing with cuteness and she wanted to hug Dugu Yan. Meanwhile, Liu Feng confirmed that Dugu Yan had not awakened the Spirit, but he detected the invisible poison hidden within her body. 

"Hello my dear, my name is Liu Erlong, and this is my son Liu Feng, who is one year older than you," Liu Erlong stated, delighted that her son would now have a friend. 

"Hello then, Gramps when are we going to that place you mentioned?" remarked Liu Feng, while Liu Erlong was angered by her child's focus on developing strength but not doing anything normal children do. 

"Honey, When you meet a new person, first you need to talk properly with Dugu Yan, GOT IT RIGHT!" Liu Erlong's last words were like the devil, which startled Liu Feng, who nodded quickly. 

"Haha you kid, wait until after your marriage, you will find true hell," Dugu Bo said, remembering his beautiful, exquisite wife, but knowing that making her furious would be a nightmare. But then he felt lonely and looked down at her granddaughter, whom he swore he would protect with his life. 

"Then we don't have time, come with me, I've already prepared carriages for our journey to the sunset forest," Dugu Bo replied, perplexing Liu Erlong and Liu Feng because it was an unsafe location and it would be risky to bring Dugu Yan with them. 

"But it will be dangerous for your granddaughter, and she didn't awaken her spirit," Liu Erlong, concerned for Dugu Yan's safety, pointed out. 

"I know, I don't want to awaken my granddaughter's spirit, and this will be a good chance for her to decide her future," Dugu Bo said with a sad voice because he knew what his granddaughter's spirit would be in the future and didn't want to go through the torment that he had gone through. 

"Hmph! Grandpa, don't decide it yourself, you know I'll awaken my spirit no matter what," Dugu Yan pouted, staring at Liu Feng with red cheeks, who ignored her when she spoke with him, and Liu Feng was perplexed by her gaze on him. 

"I understand granddaughter," Dugu Bo replied as they all proceeded to the carriages, where mother and son sat in one carriage and Dugu Yan and her Grandpa sat in another, which began going in the direction of the Sunset forest. 

"So, do you remember the place that I told you?" Dugu Bo asked after reaching the entrance of Sunset Forest and telling her the location of the place they needed to go. 

"Then we'll meet you there," Dugu Bo said, carrying his granddaughter in his arms and flying across the sky. 

"Mommy, why was Dugu Yan angry with me?" Liu Feng, who was being held by Liu Erlong's slender arms, inquired. 

"Ara, look at my son who was having difficulty making a friend," Liu Erlong laughed, relieved that her son was now behaving like a normal child. However, Liu Feng was annoyed by his mother's teasing and bit at her beauty bone as his tongue twisted on her silky skin. 

"Kyaa~," Liu Erlong shouted with a giggle, knowing her son was upset because she joked with him. 

'Again he's doing it, even though I shouldn't let him, but I can't help but tease my cute son and..." thought Liu Erlong, shaking her head with a scarlet face as she rushed towards the directions given by Dugu Bo.
