Chp. 63 A pleasant Surprise

"Behold! The corpses of the Genods! Cheer for Bota and Kana! Cheer for the leviathan slayers!! Humanity has hope!" Mayor Mao read the lines Paul gave him while Paul was watching the widened eyes of the Harpoonist who had no idea as they just got here and they have not contacted their bases yet.

But it was this time the radios of the boats they had sounded out as shouts from their superiors saying to offer Kana and Bota anything they want to get them to work for their bases.

Paul was ignored just as planned but the Harpoonist in front could not go past him as his pressure was just too much for their minds. Brune and the woman from New York were the only one that could think a bit clearly in the situation but they felt intimidated by Paul.

They were totally confused as their initial mission was to hire the Curse Demon but now the higher ups were calling for the recruitment of Bota Ma as well as Kana. Those from Union Busan was more so vocal about their request.

"If any of you have inquiries, we will only entertain people once the situation here on Port Oasis has settled. People of this town are quite in need of a few days of peace since the attack of Genod rendered them a bit fearful for the moment." Paul said as he looked with conviction to the eyes of the harpoonist on the shore.

This forced the ones that arrived to click their tongues but they could tell that Paul was no pushover so they kept still in their boats and talked to the people on the other side.

Many gave up but the ones that remained were from the largest shelters that are found on the world. New Floating Island, Union Busan, Union Akroma, Trade Port and Notre Dame were still trying to contact Bota and Kana.

Now it was night time yet no Sea Monsters were attacking as they had retreated. Bota and Kana went on with their plan to infiltrate Union Busan with a few ships that was going to deliver Sea monster parts to the eccentric Dr. Foid.

Many still thought that they were still in Port Oasis as the ones there to make offers were still waiting. Meanwhile the ones that gave up posed and took pictures of the dead bodies of Genod.

It wasn't until a week later did news come from Union Busan that they were able to hire Kana into their fold and that Bota Ma as well as Rita Ma were recognized again as legitimate successors of the Suwon Na family.

This made the ones in Port Oasis leave in anger while cursing Paul behind his back for delaying them while Brune was murmuring about how Kana just went back and took his position as commander of the Union Busan Harpoonist.

Paul and Teon Ma was now in a small personal Gym inside the Ship where Gongtae, Jako, Sonia and the Mayor Mao were sweating buckets.

"Why am I training myself as well?!" Mao was wobbly all over as he tried to make another push up but failed.

"You are now the Mayor and must be able to protect yourself when push comes to shove. Don't worry I will take care of all of you so you can at least survive fighting a Sea Devil hehehehe…" Paul laughed evilly as he had them work more sets of exercise.

And while they are dead tired he used a bit of his newfound time powers to hasten their body's healing. He made the cells develop more muscles but it did make them very hungry people.

The fishermen were also being trained by Teon Ma to become proper Harpoonist and they were given the similar course of what Harpoonist of Union Busan goes through.

Good thing Paul was there to accelerate the development of their bodies. Sure it'll take a few years of their lives but they will also gain a few years of training as well compressed in at least three months.

Now Genod is gone some Sea Monsters did find a way to arrive here as the Queen was more into watching over Rita who is now being treated by Dr. Foid like an experimental subject. But he did successfully inject Kentrassi's mutagen on Rita.

Good thing before they headed there Paul was able to teach Rita how to control her powers and how to communicate telepathically. He saw how Bota and Rita open their eyes to the darkness of humanity inside the Union Busan.

But at the same time he also saw how the Queen seemed to have panicked and had the Sea Devils attack Major settlements. Except for Skutoom who is still injured from its fight with Paul.

Bazrah seemed to be heading to Akroma and will arrive there in three days. Gordic going to Port Oasis and is going to arrive in about three days. Wormtooka is carrying the Jenner Ship which Paul warned that it might be attacking Rita once they get control of Kentrassi.

Kraken is going to head to the Trade Port, good thing Paul had planned for this so he had subtly influenced Dr. Foid to go again to get more Sea monster parts to feed Kentrassi. The Union will arrive there in about two days which he also gave a subtle thought on Kentrassi to break out a day before that.

He also somehow arrange events that would bring the people away from the places the Sea Devil might pass through if it ever escapes and go to the top deck to kill all of the rotten rich people that would be coincidentally be there partying since they have now Two leviathan Slayers.

Paul influenced the minds of the nine top shareholders to be there as well since they were totally not needed by humanity. This will put Bota to be the last shareholder and the one carrying the power in Union Busan.

Effectively putting the whole union in their side, then plus Port Oasis and possibly Trade Port they will have effectively the largest group allied together.

Notre Dame and other settlements will also be attacked if the Queen is going to look for Rita. But Paul has a plan for that, he had Mayor Mao send a distress signal that many Sea monsters would be attacking all of the large settlements because the Curse Demon has been able to place a satellite in space that is connected to his ship.

And scans reported of increased activity on the areas of the various places. They mentioned also the possible attack of Bazrah as he was spotted to be heading to Akroma. Kraken was seen swimming towards Trade Port, an unidentified ship sailing straight to Union Busan.

Then there was an image of Gordic's large body swimming towards Port Oasis. Also Paul had Mayor Mao release pictures captured through thermal imaging of increased activity of Sea monsters where large concentrations of people are present.

New York Floating Island was included as they had the largest mass of Sea Monsters gathering to their area. Paul could feel it in the air, the Psionic print of the Queen who now fears that Rita has gotten away from her senses.

Many more images were released by Mayor Mao saying that they will face a lot of deaths if they do not prepare. This made many listen as this Mayor Mao seemed to look like a frank and honest guy. Not like a Politician as he looked more like a fisherman.

But it did spark questions from others why there were not much Sea monsters attacking Port Oasis other than Gordic. Mayor Mao answer was to show a simple picture, Paul standing above hundreds of Dead Sea monsters and said the words…

"Curse Demon already took care of them…"

This was such a powerful reply that made many believe his words, even Dead port Oasis is still far from the territory of another Sea Monster and if that many appeared on the peaceful port then maybe more will come on their own shelters.

This sparked a frenzy of people gathering supplies as well as getting ready with more weapons and reinforced their homes. Only Place that did not fear was Union Busan who felt they were invincible at the fact that they have two Leviathan Slayers.

They were gloating over Port Oasis who was not able to hold on to the two and thanked that they have a doctor that lured in the famous Leviathan Slayers.

But what they did not expect was their own harpoonist that were so corrupt that they beat up a boy almost to death that it angered a sweet little girl who knows how to use her powers.

Paul's main body woke up as he was currently in bed with Shanna and the bell of the RV rang. Still a bit focused on handling Middle Earth and the Drowned Earth as well as his other research with his clones so Paul just teleported to the front door and opened to see who was disturbing him at this hour.

"Whoa, that's a pleasant surprise…" Paul heard a seductive voice making him look to who said that and realized it was Natasha. Besides her there is a blonde girl who was gawking at Paul looking at something below.

These were Natasha and her Sister Yelena who she recently saved after ambushing the Red Room that was fortunately had not regained its past prime. She found that her mother was also part of it but she was being used by Dreykov using the hypnotizing agent that she made.

It took a while for Natasha to work through the intricacies of how the agent worked till she was able to make an antidote for the effects. And during the last part, Dreykov was totally confused when his hidden programming of Natasha did not work.

Unbeknownst to him Paul already took care of it when he met Natasha for the first time and told her about the Red Room still existing. Now she is here with her sister she recently regained who had also gone the Black Widow procedure and training.

"Sis, it looks like veiny snake as thick as my arms…" Yelena said as she was about to reach out and see if it was real.

"Stop that…" Natasha slapped her sisters arms while Paul was getting some of his thoughts back and it made him feel the cold breeze. Deep inside he was face slapping himself but he just waved his hand and a robe appeared on his body.

"Aww…" Yelena looked disappointed as her smile disappeared from her face. Natasha too showed a bit of a let-down expression but she calmed herself and talked.

"May we come in?" Natasha said while Paul just nodded and thought if he should erase their memories of the matter but he just shook his head. They were all adults, what's the harm of showing a bit of skin, he's proud of his body anyways so he just let it be.

"So what brought you over here to my place." Paul said as cups of coffee floated towards Natasha and Yelena.

"I don't drink coffee, makes me too jumpy." Yelena said as she saw the contents making Paul switch it to juice.

"Fury wants to hide some of the operatives somewhere HYDRA can't find them as many have 'fallen' in the field. They are in need of a good plot of land to be laid to 'rest' and this would be considered as him owning you a favor." Natasha said as she told Paul about the increased number of agents that Fury was able to hide from HYDRA.

Most were pronounced KIA or some became POW to some African warlord which were arranged by Fury to keep his manpower hidden for the last showdown.

Another reason is the sudden stream of Widow Agents that Natasha had recently saved. Fury had barely put up a secret mission that HYDRA has no idea about but that would be hard to hide if there are hundreds of young girls suddenly being handled.

Fury also had a hard time finding ways to get them back to their past lives since most of them were orphans and to return them would be a big move that HYDRA would notice.

"I see, it seems Gravik and Gi'ah reported about my Man-cave huh?" Paul nodded as he understood, he did not even want to hide the Man-cave to Fury and this was another ploy of Fury for Paul to weed out any that might have slipped his notice.

He was not entirely sure that everyone he had hidden were loyal to him so he wanted to Paul pick them up one by one and scan them. He had some ideas of what Paul's powers may be so he thought of this plan to ensure that no one would turn into a Trojan horse in the end.

"Okay, I'll take them there. But they will have to be able to adjust to my system there so I think it would be great for you to find out what I am talking about. Brace yourselves…" Paul waited for the two sisters to teleport with him.

"Shanna! I'll be going to the South Pole for now, breakfast is on the microwave…" Paul said as he was ready while Shanna just replied with a tired satisfied groan.

"South Pole?" Yelena said before her Surrounding shifted making her and Natasha dizzy at the change of atmosphere.

"Wow, that is trippy…" Yelena said as she steadied herself and looked around the place she is in.

"This is much larger than the reports say." Natasha said as she marveled in the whole massive underground city that Paul made.

"And he's been here like what? Few months?" Yelena said as she skipped around the park filled with curiosity.

"What are you planning here mister Esteban?" Natasha asked seriously as she looked at Paul feeling a bit unsure deep inside. Such a large work cannot be done simply in a few months, even when reports say that there was a large amount of robots helping.

This would need a lot of resources and Paul had not done much for the past few days, thought they were not sure because they heard reports of small companies buying some things and deliver somewhere no one knows.

There had been a few ghost companies that SHIELD had noticed but due to the current Spy wars there have been little resource that SHIELD could currently use.

HYDRA did place in more agents forcing some to stick to desk jobs but that was good for Fury. He kept those that have no relation to HYDRA in desk jobs for now to protect them and have an easier time mowing down numbers of HYDRA.

Strike Team lost around 40% members already and Pierce has not idea that Fury was playing with him. In his mind SHIELD is slowly being swallowed by HYDRA.

Though it was still delayed due to Ophelia Sarkissan vying for control and had called in HAND ninjas to help her men. Ophelia did not know who was guiding her but she was very cooperative since her brainwashing took off.

And the places that her boss in the shadows pointed at were the places that houses most brainwashed HYDRA members. Those that were totally nazi and into the view of HYDRA controlling the world were cleaned off.

Paul had altered her mind to be a bit empathetic to brainwashed people that were tricked of their lives to surrender and have HYDRA place their hands into their minds.

This also brought the attention of Zola who was still figuring out who is backing up Ophelia. Charles had at least sent to her the help of Lady Deathstrike, Sabertooth as well as Wade Wilson Aka Deadpool since with her help the X-men could track the secret labs of Essex.

Though this strict criterion gave Ophelia a lot of people in her command, they were not as skillfully trained by HYDRA as they were mostly treated as cannon fodder.

Yet it did make her hold the documents of thousands of HYDRA properties. He had eyes everywhere as his clones were in hiding in many parts while studying and ready to assist should it be needed.

Now Paul had directed her to take control of the so called future of HYDRA, a young girl picked to be the perfect human from birth and would be raised to be the leader of HYDRA.

Ophelia had locked on the plan of HYDRA to raise the kid into a deadly weapon but Paul had given her a message to make the child her own.

This also placed Daniel Whitehall into the cross hairs of Ophelia who had found special individuals to be her own strike team hunting down the old scientist.
