Wendy Clarke immediately asked, "Does, does her son look like Mr. Lopez?"
Her son did look exactly like Mr. Lopez.
Wendy still remembers the first time she saw the child, she could hardly stand his appearance.
How could he be so ugly.
If only he looked a bit more like her, she might have cared about him a little.
But he was a spitting image of Mr. Lopez.
Wendy simply couldn't stand Mr. Lopez, so it was impossible for her to love that child.
If Cindy Clarke's son was also Mr. Lopez's, Wendy thought, the child probably wouldn't be much better off either.
Mrs. Lopez curled her lip slightly and shot a sarcastic glance at Wendy Clarke.
Wendy picked up on that, feeling there was something off about Mrs. Lopez's expression.
But she was so curious about Cindy Clarke's son, Wendy couldn't think too much about it.
Her eyes were filled with eager anticipation, waiting for Mrs. Lopez's answer.
Mrs. Lopez smiled and said, "He doesn't really resemble my husband much."
