Helping Shisui

Sato's first night in Konoha went by peacefully, it was the next morning now.

C was arranging barriers in their room last night, and Sato was watching him all the time, so he got up pretty late today.

It turns out that's why C was acting so weirdly yesterday, he was checking for traps laid by Konoha that time.

"Those guys left pretty early."

Sato muttered, he had just finished washing up and was reading the note Yugito and C left for him.

It said something along the lines of 'have fun.'

'Have fun? That's the codeword for me to start my mission.'

'If they told me to start the mission, then sister and C should have taken care of everything.'

Sato shrugged, he didn't really know how Yugito and C managed to make sure he can roam free in Konoha, especially after the previous day's incident.

But he wasn't about to question it, Yugito might not be very politically sharp, but C was.

They should be able to handle their part while he did his thing.

'Konoha wants to trick the Cloud and not give us Hyuga Hiashi's body, my main mission is to find out Konoha's plan.'

'But this is not a problem for me, I already know Konoha is giving us Hiashi's twin brother, Hyuga Hizashi.'

'And Hyuga Hizashi's body has a sealed Byakugan, making it worthless.'

Sato rubbed his chin and thought how he should go about breaking this news to Yugito and C.

He needed some legitimate sources, mostly from clan kids, because they were the only ones he was supposed to approach.

'Whom do I choose, who will know about this kind of thing.'

Sato scratched his head in confusion, this was difficult.

"Whatever, I'll go out to Ichiraku and see if I can find someone."

Sato yawned and walked out of the house, he didn't feel anything different after walking out, but he knew someone must he watching him right now.

'It's either anbu or root.'

Sato yawned again while walking towards a random direction.

Unlike a Konoha native he had nothing to fear from anbu and root.

For all he cares, they might as well he his protectors in the dark, his life was very important to Konoha after all.

'Ooh~ I remember that building, isn't that the Uchiha guard's main office?'

This was a building which Sato remembered from the story.

The Uchiha guard's main building was the only place that still carried the Uchiha symbol after their massacre.

'I didn't even walk that far and I am already near the guard station.'

'We were clearly given this place to stay because it's the closest to the guard station.'

'They want to put us under watch from the beginning, so we can't do another Hyuga incident.'

Sato shook his head, unlike most Uchiha he was shrewd enough to understand what Konoha was doing.

Konoha was a political hellhole, they clearly wanted to use Uchiha's strength, but will stop at nothing to kill them when the chance comes.

If Uchiha were smart, they should have refused to watch over cloud Shinobi, this was a thankless job.

"Speaking of doing thankless jobs."

"Isn't that Shisui over there."

Sato muttered while looking at an Uchiha apologizing to a civilian woman over and over again.

The civilian herself was releasing her pent up anger from someone else on Shisui, and wasn't interested in listening to him at all.

But Shisui was standing there with a gentle smile.

Sato looked on speechlessly, Shisui was way too gentle for his own good.

Konoha's citizens were utter trash, they bullied their hero white fang until he killed himself and almost did the same to Naruto.

This woman just wanted to use Shisui as her punching bag.

Sato shook his head, Shisui was a good guy, but he lacked experience in dealing with people.

"Hey!"

"Elder brother!"

Sato decided to call out to Shisui, his face had that familiar big smile which showed whenever someone was about to get in trouble.

"!"

"Sato kun.. you are here."

Shisui's always gentle smile quickly froze, he still remembered how big of a trouble Sato had created for him a day ago.

He was scolded by the clan for an hour straight yesterday!

Shisui desperately wanted to make sure he wasn't on Sato's bad side today.

"Who the hell are you brat!"

But the civilian woman immediately snapped at Sato, she had no such concerns and wanted to scold Sato together with Shisui, who was supposedly his elder brother.

Doing this gave her a special kind of happiness, whenever she could show power over these rich clan people she felt amazing.

Although other clan's were out of her reach, but Uchiha's wanted the approval of the village and tried to be nice, she liked to take advantage of that.

It made her feel powerful and important after seeing the strong and rich Uchiha bow down to her.

"You Uchihas make me sick."

"You don't deserve to be in the village-"

"Excuse me."

Sato stopped the woman's ramblings and blinked his big eyes.

"Did I talk to you ma'am?"

"Or are you a fool who doesn't know when to speak?"

Sato's harmless smile and needle like words made Shisui shiver and close his eyes.

He still remembered how badly Sato had destroyed the Hyuga elder back then.

And this woman went ahead and jumped into the fire pit herself.

"..What did you just say.."

The woman was shocked for a few seconds before her anger took over and she ran towards Sato.

She wanted to hit him, as for the fact that he was a kid, why would she care about that?

That never stopped her from throwing rocks at the nine tailed brat.

"I'll show you your place dirty Uchiha spawn!"

But the more she showed her anger towards him, the more Sato's grin widened, and the more Shisui's face drained of colour.

"Don't hurt him! He is hidden cloud's-"

Before Shisui could attempt to stop the unreasonable woman, she stopped by herself and clutched her neck in fear.

Sweat started pouring out of her body and her eyes were panicked.

"I.. you can't hurt me, I am a Konoha's citizen."

The woman stuttered and attempted to threaten the masked Ninja who was holding a kunai to her throat.

This was totally unexpected by her.

She had the guts to hit an Uchiha because the village allowed the civilians to act like that, there was never a punishment for crimes against Uchihas.

So why did a Ninja jump over to stop her now!

The woman here had no idea that the child she causally wanted to beat up wasn't an Uchiha, but a foreign VVIP.

'Anbu?'

Meanwhile Shisui's eyes widened, he was about to help Sato before this anbu rushed over.

This made Shisui silent, he was having mixed feelings about this, he realised that Sato did this to save him.

His own people wanted to harm him everyday, while Sato, a foreign boy, saved him, just because he had saved him once yesterday.

Shisui didn't know what to make of this, he felt sad but he also wanted to talk to Sato, and thank him if he could.

Shisui knew approaching Sato now would put him in even more trouble, but sometimes, a man needs to do something for himself.

Shisui was okay with being punished, he had decided to talk to Sato once, no matter the cost.
