Inappropiately

Ethan

"And what are you thinking about?" Demyan looked up to me. His blonde hair spread out on the light blue blanket laid over the dewy grass. There was no sun today. I was not going to lie and say he glowed under the bright rays of sunlight because it was November therefore there was not a speck of blue sky we could see.

It was drastically cloudy and it looked like it could rain at any moment but we thought it would be a good idea to have a picnic whilst the children were at daycare and nursery.

That did not mean Demyan did not look beautiful. His skin was paler because it had not been kissed by the sun for so long and his freckles blended perfectly with his light caramel skin. His eyes made the stingy blue sky look like a joke because I knew if the sun had the power it would have preferred to have Demyan's eye colour as its companion.
