Yeah it maybe realistic IF mc didn't die once. Death part change everything. Also vomiting part was kinda unrealistic well it became a norm in fictional works so people think that way. Pedestalising human death (people don't care if death is of someone with no emotional attachment like you care a criminal dies). Just imagine a cow or a pig getting blasted, at most you will feel degusted. Also did he see human sacrifice before in cult? You r making mc like anime 13 y/o naive girl with feel-sorry-for-everyone attitude
