The Chase

 Kai Syaoran fled through an endless tunnel filled with enough pressure to reduce the hardest metals into sheets as thin as paper.He could feel this pressure trying to squeeze him into himself but this pressure was nothing when faced with his body forged by the Day Physique gem .Although he had been cut into tow and he was right now nothing but his upper body ,he was still able to function as though nothing had happened .He had long ago stopped bleeding and his lower body was already regrowing .

All he felt was some itchiness but this was nothing to him .

In his left hand ,he held the Dawn Soul gem .It felt as though he was holding all the treasures of the world .Countless lives had been sacrificed and people had plotted for millions of year to get their hands on this gem .All their efforts were for naught.

The gem had not been his main goal but getting it was a very good thing for Kai Syaoran .
