Though they had been transformed into God Race warriors and possessed the physique of the Gods, their combat experience remained at the level of warriors from the Nine Realms.
Their battle experience and fighting skills were far inferior to the Protoss warriors. However, due to the enhancements from the Hall of Valor, they had stronger bodies and greater strength than ordinary Protoss warriors.
This gave these heroic warriors a false sense of power, believing that they were invincible, and that no one could stand in their way.
However, it was the merits of the Hall of Valor that made them what they were. Without that, they might still be nothing.
These souls judged their own strength solely based on their appearance.
In reality, their combat effectiveness was not high, especially when they lacked an understanding of Protoss battle formations and fighting techniques.
Because they were endowed with immense power by the Hall of Valor, they were difficult for ordinary individuals to discipline.
So, the easiest way was to speak with fists.
Rhodes had abused these heroic warriors like this.
Many onlookers among the heroic spirit warriors were horrified.
They couldn't believe that Rhodes possessed such incredible strength.
Those few Heroic Warriors who had mocked Rhodes earlier, saying that his clothes were ragged, were now left humiliated.
If others saw this scene, they would certainly burst into laughter.
But now, these heroic warriors were no longer in a laughing mood.
Because they had seen the vast difference between themselves and Rhodes.
With Rhodes' level of strength, none of them could hope to match him, even if they all joined forces.
No one had any idea of Rhodes' true power.
Since they now had the bodies of the Protoss, they also feared death.
They didn't know if the heroic warriors who had ascended from the Nine Realms, like them, could be resurrected again, or if they would be completely obliterated along with their souls.
This fear had struck the group of heroic warriors.
However, one of the heroic warriors who had been taught a lesson by Rhodes was clearly not convinced.
Even though all his weapons and armor had been shattered by Rhodes, he still wanted to get up and continue fighting.
Rhodes placed the point of his guardian spear against the warrior's throat.
The sharp tip of the Guardian's lance pricked the warrior's skin, causing blood to trickle down.
The cold emanating from the spear's tip sent shivers down the warrior's spine, and the pain in his throat made him freeze in place, afraid to move.
The fear of death was present in both God warriors and human warriors.
Even with their newfound power and the physique of the Gods, they still feared death.
Rhodes spoke coldly.
"If you don't want to die, then behave. Otherwise, I don't mind turning you into a soul once again."
"I am Rhodes, the Guardian of the Nine Realms, and I am here under the authority of God King Odin to deal with you."
"I am not a patient person. If you cause trouble, I will not hesitate to take action."
"I have defeated countless Frost Giants, and I am no less powerful than you so-called heroic warriors."
"Even if I were to eliminate all of you, God King Odin would not object. The Hall of Valor can continuously create more heroic warriors."
"If you serve no purpose to Asgard, then you are worthless."
"For those without value, you should understand what fate awaits you."
Rhodes' words sent a chill down the spines of the rebellious heroic warriors.
They realized that their actions had consequences they had never considered before.
God King Odin had created them to serve Asgard.
However, in their current state, they not only disobeyed orders but also caused chaos, bringing countless troubles to Asgard.
If one day God King Odin grew tired of them, it might be the day of their demise.
Asgard was not a retirement home. If they were no longer useful as fighters, death would be their only fate.
They should actually be grateful for Rhodes' arrival.
At least for the Protoss of Asgard, they still had some utility.
Rhodes sneered.
"Heroic warriors? The name sounds amusing, but you are nothing more than a bunch of weak, useless trash."
Many of the haughty heroic warriors were seething with anger, their chests heaving at Rhodes' humiliating words.
They were obviously infuriated by what Rhodes had said.
But none of them dared to attack Rhodes, and the few heroic warriors lying on the ground now told the whole story.
Rhodes continued.
"What? Are you not convinced? Fine, there's no problem at all. How about I make a bet with you?"
"Among you, anyone who is not convinced, raise your hand. There's no limit to the number of challengers. Come and challenge me. If any of you can defeat me and bring me down, I will leave, and you can continue your antics."
"But if I win, then all of you must keep your mouths shut and obey my orders. Even if I order you to die, you must obey. Agreed?"
"Now, I'll give you five minutes. If no one challenges me within these five minutes, I will assume that all of you have surrendered. You are a group of cowards, and you will line up obediently."
"Alright, the timer starts now."
Rhodes manipulated the technological armguard on his left arm, projecting a five-minute countdown timer directly above the Hall of Heroes.
The heroic warriors looked at each other, unsure of what to do. They didn't dare to speak.
Some of the less courageous ones had already started to stand in a line in front of the Hall of Heroes.
Evidently, they had been convinced by Rhodes' strength and realized that resisting him was futile.
They chose to stand in line obediently, believing that making an early choice and standing at the front of the line might leave a better impression on Rhodes.
However, there were still many heroic warriors who were hesitating.
They didn't know where to go. They had undergone a transformation from the Nine Realms to Asgard as souls, and upon arriving in Asgard, they couldn't find their loved ones or a sense of purpose.
Lost and confused, they didn't know what their future held.
At this moment, there were three minutes remaining on the projection timer.
Rhodes spoke again.
"Three minutes left, cowards, hurry up. Don't waste your time if no one is going to challenge me."
