90. Academy

The journey to the academy ended only after thirty minutes of walking. Those privileged kids could only grunt and grumble in annoyance, fortunately, Mira had been quick to worsen their moods further. Within the academy, there were no vehicles, mainly because the island's residents did not need them.

Moreover, this site remained efficient in getting them accustomed to an outdoor life. Still, getting from place to place was a hassle.

Mira had mentioned how they could just run. Still, considering getting to some locations required that they ascended steep areas that only had hike paths, that method could eventually prove less efficient than expected.

They arrived at a 15ft iron gate guarding the academy's entrance. To the west, a hill ascended, but its shadow was nothing compared to the three surrounding mountains.
