One Condition

I found myself puzzled by his mention of the "calm before the storm" From my perspective, I was already deep in the midst of that very storm. Frustration and exhaustion overwhelmed me, and I had reached my breaking point.

In an act of defiance, I managed to free myself from his grip, taking a step back. I couldn't contain my emotions any longer, and I spoke out loudly, my voice filled with desperation.

"I don't need fabricated answers; I just need the damn truth!"

He stared at me, his expression a mix of confusion and introspection. Was he lost in his own thoughts or deliberately ignoring my plea? I couldn't tell.

I continued to pour out my frustration, questioning his inability to simply speak the unvarnished truth.

"Is it so difficult for you? Can't you just spell out the truth without any twists? I'm tired, so tired of all this!"
