Conversation on the Digital Screen Part II

“These days, people have no compassion for one another. Not a single person gives this little girl a seat!” she said loudly, not holding back. “Come here...! You can take my seat. Hurry up before those selfish people take it from you again,” she said to the girl who was no taller than her waist. At first, she was reluctant to sit, but after Lin gave her a friendly smile, she finally did so.

Lin stood among the crowd on the train for a moment. Upon reaching the next station, people descended, allowing more space to become available. She immediately moved to the seat, ignoring the people trying to take it. Those people were too strong for her to give up her seat for them. The girl, therefore, sat down comfortably. When everything seemed to be in place, she took out the phone again. On the screen, a message she had forgotten that she had been waiting for appeared.
