The door rang again making him notice that the person was in a hurry, Yamamoto left the cutlery on the table and without hurrying too much opened the door, "Oh Bokuden what brings you at this hour?" asked Yamamoto noticing Apis' grandfather. At first, he thought it would be Hocha, but he found it strange that she knocked on the door.
"I've finally finished it!" exclaimed Bokuden excitedly as he passed into the house.
"Really?" said Yamamoto as he closed the door.
More than a week ago he had given him the dragon bone that belonged to Ryu, and he had no more news about it, "Yes it was harder than I thought, here it is!" said Bokuden as from his pocket he took out a small vial that possessed a strong pink substance.
Yamamoto walked over to the table and took the vial, *Is it a Clash Royale elixir?* thought Yamamoto remembering the elixir of this famous game from his past life.
As he continued to inspect the rare dragon elixir he asked, "Are you sure taking this won't do me any harm?"
"Respect the history of my ancestors!" exclaimed Bokuden. "There shouldn't be any problem, I was very careful and followed the old records to the letter" he added.
"Then I'll trust you..." said Yamamoto as he uncorked the bottle and was about to drink the elixir, *We'll see if what that fat marine babbled was true* thought Yamamoto.
Although he did not believe that it will give him immortality, if nothing else he was hoping for a change in his body whether it was in his vitality or something else. Bokuden watched Yamamoto with excitement in his eyes, as he will be able to see the effects of this legendary elixir.
Without further thought, Yamamoto drank the elixir noting that his taste was nil which was a good thing, as he didn't want to taste a foul taste.
After he finished drinking the elixir, he began to feel a slight tingling that spread through his chest, causing him to feel a sense of anxiety and anticipation. He sat in a chair, waiting for the effects of the elixir to manifest.
"Do you feel anything different?" asked Bokuden the instant Yamamoto finished drinking the elixir, "Wait... I feel that the effect may take a few minutes" said Yamamoto noticing small sensations in his body.
A few minutes passed, and Yamamoto began to notice these changes. A renewed energy seemed to surge from within his being as if his cells were revitalized. The wrinkles on his skin became smoother than before.
The feeling of vitality spread throughout his body. His muscles, previously tired from today's training, felt stronger and his previous fatigue disappeared, *It worked!* Yamamoto thought with excitement.
Just when he thought the elixir's effect had worn off he began to feel a slight tingling in his bones. A warm and comforting sensation ran through his skeleton as his bones seemed to get stronger and stronger, "What the hell..." whispered Yamamoto as he looked at the knuckles of his hands that felt much harder than before.
"What happened, are you feeling bad?" asked Bokuden with concern in his voice.
"No... it's not only an improvement in vitality, but it also improves the bones" replied Yamamoto satisfied by the elixir.
"Oh that makes sense after all it is an elixir produced through a dragon bone" said Bokuden to which Yamamoto nodded his head.
After speaking a few more words with Bokuden and thanking him for making the elixir, Bokuden took his leave and returned home, *Open the status window* thought Yamamoto wanting to see how many years his vitality went and if his defense went up a few points.

"This is a windfall" whispered Yamamoto with a big smile on his face looking at his new lifespan. Thanks to this elixir he got 8 years of life, double what he had gotten by spending his valuable merit points, although it was far from immortality, it was still a great gain.
In addition to this, his defense went up by 3 points, which is a great increase and more so now that he knew how difficult it was to raise 1 single skill point since in a week he trained 10 hours a day and didn't even manage to raise 1 point in any of the stats he decided to train.
Now his defense was his highest statistic that touched the floor of 20 points noting that when he reached this level is a great leap of quality in his bones that are now much harder and more resistant than before.
And gaining so many years of life saved him a lot of merit points that he should spend in the future, out of curiosity he went to the store heading for the life card, and when he noticed its price his expression before happy changed.
*What the hell, why did its price increase so much?" he thought surprised and wide-eyed as he looked at the price of the life card.
The new price was 2,000 merit points! Its price had tripled, leaving Yamamoto at a loss to understand the situation. The only possible explanation is that as he gets older these cards will become more expensive for some reason.
*This system likes to complicate things for me...* though Yamamoto with his current points can only buy one year of life.
If he remembers correctly in the canon Robin is about 30 years old approximately and now he is 8 that is to say that there are still about 22 years left to reach the canon, so he would need about 6 life cards if he wants to witness the canon and that would be equivalent to 12,000 merit points as long as its value is maintained.
Thinking about these digits Yamamoto felt a little depressed as thanks to the 50% strength cards, completing various missions, and killing vice admirals he had at most gotten about 5,000 merit points in total. Also, he did not want to live only 22 years, in his previous life he was someone young so he wanted to live to an advanced age mentally, so he would need many more merit points to achieve such a thing.
"I shouldn't think like that, most likely through the main mission I can get more merit points" whispered Yamamoto as he shook his head and put those thoughts aside.
After finishing watching his new status sale, Hocha arrived and they started dinner, even though the food was cold Hocha was very grateful to her grandfather for cooking. After that Yamamoto went to bed, thinking about improving his times from the first week and thus gradually getting stronger every day.
