Woo-Bin listened to Baek-Hyun keenly. That didn't seem to be the reason he left so where were they headed?

Baek-Hyun could tell what Woo-Bin was thinking, so he decided to get straight to the point.

"Your father's people approached you after that." He said, causing Woo-Bin's eyes to widen in shock. "You came to me, saying you didn't want your Sun-bae to get hurt. You'd give up anything just as long as he remained safe. I couldn't even tell how many times you said the word 'he is innocent', while pleading with me to do something."

Woo-Bin was silent.

"And then, what did you do?" He asked and Baek-Hyun lowered his head.

"I was returning to the states and gave you an option. I told you that I'd keep you safe if you followed me but if you chose to stay, I wouldn't be able to do much but I'd still try to keep you safe."

"And... I chose to leave, didn't I?"
