"The meeting was successful," Alexander looked at Evangeline once Mr. Cooper and his wife left.
"I am glad," she smiled softly.
He looked at his wristwatch and sighed inwardly.
"It's close to ten. Come, let me drop you," Alexander stood from the seat and was about to move when Evangeline held his wrist.
He turned to her, her eyes clearly telling him that she didn't want to leave right now. He couldn't look away from her eyes for a few seconds before he nodded at her.
He looked at his secretary, who bowed and left them alone, making Alexander look at Evangeline again.
Her dress was already a sin and now she was looking at him like that. How can she expect him to stay in line seeing her like this? Alexander gritted his teeth.
"What do you have in mind?" He asked after a few seconds, but she didn't answer.
"I had a really tough day," she said after a few seconds.
