An Apology and a Quest

Saad blinked in surprise. The Ashen Witch looked in a bad mood, her expression dark and foreboding. Saad tried to think of the reason why she would be mad when a message window flashed suddenly:

[Your familiarity with the Ashen Witch has decreased. Ashen Witch looks at you with distrust.]

The message surprised Saad. He hadn't met her since the last quest he did with her, so what could have happened? Was she angry because he hadn't visited her for a few days? He got off Aali and tried to persuade the angry old woman.

"I've been really busy with an important quest these past few days. I'm sorry," he explained, his tone sincere.

The Ashen Witch narrowed her eyes at him, clearly unconvinced. Saad promised her that he wouldn't neglect her again, but she just threw the shovel in her hands onto the snow-covered soil and pointed a finger at him.
