Skills of the Ultimate Gambler (2)

My old phone died and now I got a new IPhone 15 that is way better than my old one with 4x the storage as well.

Also this mini-arc will be between both the games that either Hifumi or Celestia are in if they aren't in the same area while playing their games.

After getting out of the car I opened the hood, as the engine for this car was in the area where the trunk would be located like all luxury cars, and pulled out two suitcases which made her raise an eyebrow.

"I thought you only had enough money for me to play?" She says to which I shrug as I hand her a suitcase.

"I felt like gambling as well, didn't feel that it would be that enjoyable to just sit back while watching you gambling constantly as I play on my phone or something." I say with a shrug as really 200 million yen isn't a lot to me, when a single SP is based around 10,000¥ so 200,000,000¥ is only 20,000SP which I earned all back within the hour of taking them out yesterday thanks to my many world stores across all my connected worlds.

(N) had to look back in my early chapters to remember the original conversion rates I set for this in the early chapters.

"Fair enough." She says while we make our way towards the entrance of the school, to which we noticed two women waiting for us, one wearing a face mask and another shorter girl with a hoodie up while sucking on a sucker.

"Welcome Ms.Ludenberg to our school, we were expecting your arrival, though we are surprised that Mr. Yamanda would be joining you here on this day." The woman with the face mask said while the girl wearing the hoodie approached me as she looked me up and down.

"Are you really a mangaka?" She asked a question I get a lot when people find out who I am, probably because of the bad name that otakus and mangaka's have and that being fat ugly slobs that I unfortunately was at one point.

"Yes, I hope your not assuming all mangakas are fat guys or something like that." I say with a sigh but what I was a bit surprised about was her pulling out both of my Mangas.

"No, I just wanted to make sure I was asking the right guy to sign these." She said which made me awkwardly scratch the side of my face, meanwhile the masked girl lead Celestia into the school to have her to go begin her gambling spree while I followed the shorter girl who lead me in as well with me and Celestia going separate ways.

"I know about yours school system and all that, but I'm going to lay it out there right now, what both me and Celestia have is all that we have right now, so when we're out of money then that's it, we're not going past the nonexistent amount of money if we have nothing at all." I explained to the shorter girl, who calls herself Runa Yomozuki, about what would happen if we end up losing money.

Runa just shrugged, "That depends on who your going up against if they'll agree to that, but I know a girl who probably will." She said as I followed along before we went out into the back of the school before entering a separate smaller building that was created in traditional Japanese style.

"Yuriko? Got somebody for you to play against." Runa said as we entered the building as I only saw two women inside.

One girl was wearing a traditional red and white Miko kimono while the other girl was wearing the standard red school uniform.

"Hmm? And who have you brought to me today Runa?" She said sounding slightly confused as only a few members of the student council knew about me and Celestia showing up to their school.

"Hifumi, this is Yuriko Nishinotouin, the leader of the Traditional Cultural Club, Yuriko, this is Hifumi Yamada, The Ultimate Mangaka from Hopes Peak Academy." Runa went onto introduce the both of us as Yuriko bowed her head towards me.

"Welcome to the Traditional Cultural Club Yamada-kun." She said which made me feel awkward as I scratched my cheek.

"Please, just call me Hifumi." I say while Runa headed on out as she was more interested in watching an actual Ultimate Gambler play than what she believed was a fat pig waiting for the slaughter.

Unfortunately Runa read me wrong from the beginning as I was a very proficient gambler and the only person that Celestia has had a hard time winning against in such a long time.

Elsewhere Celestia was soon brought to the student council room where the president along with several members of the student council.

There was a red haired girl who seemed slightly familiar, a guy with glasses, a girl with an eyepatch wearing a bored look and finally a more refined woman that was sitting at the head desk of the student council room.

The two girls that led her here soon went and stood beside her as the president, Kirari Momobami, looked at Celestia with interest.

"You know I was genuinely surprised when I received a call from Hopes Peak that their Ultimate Gambler was interested in challenging our school with your skills Ms. Ludenberg." Kirari said with a gleam in her eyes.

"Well I have heard about how this school's known pass time for quite awhile, though I knew this school was quite high stakes with money, something I couldn't earn without outside help as high stakes tournaments outside of this school don't even go close to the high stakes in here unless I went to the US to earn my money, after all everything I have saved up from all the gambling I have done was earned by me and me alone, well excluding this." Celestia said looking at the suitcase in her hand before looking back at Kirari.

"How stupid, how could anyone besides the president earn the title of Ultimate Gambler when she has never known a loss." The secretary, Sayaka Igarashi, said after deciding to reveal her Grievances at how the student council president didn't have that title herself rather than Celestia.

Hearing that Celestia put a finger on her chin and thought about it as she tilted her head to the side, "One would be she obviously doesn't go to hopes peak, and two being that unlike her I had to claw my way to where I am where as she is already the leader of her own clan and has massive financial support backing her, not only that but her family has always had a stake within your academy since its founding from what I know." Celestia listed out why Kirari wasn't the Ultimate Gambler and that she was but from what she could tell Kirari doesn't care for titles but her council thinks otherwise as the man with glasses stands up.

"Then if you would allow me to see if this supposed Ultimate Gambler that you say you are is truly worthy of going up against our president." Kaede Manyuda, the Student Council Treasuer, said as he pushed up his glasses.

Celestia put her hand to her mouth to hide the slight smirk on her lips, "Well then, if you desire to see my skills then so be it, I'll let you know why the title I have earned isn't all for show."

Celestia vs. Kaede

Hifumi vs. Yuriko
