The answered prayer
Life is rather simple for me.
You eat, you sleep, you study, you workout, and you shit.
That`s all it takes to live. That`s all what life is about for me. I have no complain. Yet people are like-
'Ohhh~ but your life is boring. Don`t you want to experience great adventures like the main characters you read from different novels? It would be much more exciting.'
Shut the fuck up, I love my life.
I am rather content with reading about their adventures thank you very much.
Boring is always better.

"Fuck!!! Please dear God reincarnate the shit out of me!!!" I scream as there is a chance that whatever God I am praying to has hearing issues.
What God am I praying to? Well whoever is listening I guess.
"Only tonight is left before the exam and as you may know I haven`t learned shit. So I pray, this is the perfect moment to reincarnate me." I pray with utmost dedication. If I had studied with this much dedication I would`ve surely topped my class.
I am in my room, sitting on my bed and it is pitch black because it is night and I am about to sleep.
"I swear if you reincarnate me I will treat my cousin Amy only as a sister and nothing else, no matter how big her boobs are."
I was not a believer of God but you won`t find someone more devote and religious than me on the day before the exam.
"Please hear my prayers. Even if you can`t reincarnate me at least burn my school. I heard a few students sell drugs there, I am not sure but better be safe than sorry.."

I breathe a sigh of relief as I lay down on my bed. I pull the blanket over me and I roll over to my right side and put my right arm under the pillow to get comfortable.
I switch on my phone and ignore the time which says it is still only 7:14 pm. It is the night before the exam and I need a good rest if I want to write the exam with the full capabilities of my brain.
The pressure of tomorrow's exam is weighing on me and the best way to dispel that is to read some good old fanfiction on webnovel.
The fanfics serializing right now is good. Isekai Restaurant, Re:life with Karmic Gacha, Necromantic Gamer`s Journey, Reborn in Custom Made Demon King and Fairy Tail : Sginigami, all are top tier fanfics and right now they all have new updates.
How can this possibly get better?
Oh!!! And Meta Essence Gacha in Marvel has a new update.
"Hahaha, seems like I am not getting sleep tonight." I say as I begin reading each and everyone of them.
It was already past 12 when I finish reading every one of them but I still have one more left. I tap my library on the phone and scroll though until I find one fanfic.

I am not sure how I feel about this book. It has nothing exceptional to show for except its childish jokes and funny way of writing.
Yet for some odd reason I find myself waiting for a new update everytime. And God does it have shitty updates with no fucking reason. It was never a long chapter or an extremely well written chapter but it just took long for the Author to write.
I find a red dot beside the cover of the book, there is a new update. I smile and tap on it and begin reading the new chapter.
"Hahahaha." I chuckle in the silence of the night. Fucking hell I swear to God I have the same level of IQ as the author.
The chapter finally come to an end. I turn off my phone and go to the alarm settings and set up five alarms.
7:00 am
7:05 am
7:10 am
7:15 am
7:20 am
I also make sure to put my phone away from my bed where I can't reach it easily. Otherwise I will sleepwalk in the morning and turn off the alarm without even knowing it.
With all that done I go to the toilet to pee. I did not need to go but I will not sleep well if I didn`t.
Finally, I make sure the water bottle at the side of my bed still has water even though I never drink it at night. Again I will not be able sleep well if there is no water.
I turn my pillow and rest my head on the cold side before finally sleep take hold of me.
But just before unconsciousness claim me a voice ask what I wanted the most. And my lame ass loner mind answer, 'A best friend'.
I forgot about this in the morning though.

"Let me reincarnate the shit out of this guy." A being with infinite and yet finite power said in an amused tone.
"I wonder if he can become the main character or if his story would be worthy to be told." The being hummed.
"Well I can`t be bothered to make plans. Lets just roll with it and see how it goes." The being said as he flung the soul off to another world.
He smiled and he suddenly divided into two.
Then one of them followed the soul.
