I laughed, snorting as I thought of the fall that we had had. It was sad that it was sort of a mood breaker in that sex was off the table. For me at least, she was tuckered out. But it was still quite funny to me.

Even if it really wasn't as funny as I thought it was. But the more I thought of the moment, the more I giggled and the more I cuddled to the warm body next to me.

But eventually, those chuckled turned to giggles and giggles to silence, the world fading into darkness. 

I let my eyes droop, curling into Lily and placing my face into the crook of her neck. With that done I was able to sleep.

The sun shone on my face, bringing with it the dawn of a new day. A new day, bringing with it responsibilities and tasks.
