They both returned to the Capital the following day and News of her engagement had yet to die down.

They arrived in Cardan's mansion, that they planned on changing a bit, for one Cardan hadn't given any house designs when it was made and two it didn't have anything of special value to both of them. Three it was also cold and felt more like a hotel hell even a hotel room was more homey.

But they would still build a new house. This would turn into more like a vacation home or a home away from home type of house.

For one Wren didn't desire to leave in a mansion it felt too big and distant for her. Although she did want a big house. She wanted a farmhouse inspired home with a large backyard with a pool and an outside kitchen and a place to host family gatherings.

And most importantly it had to be made from bricks and not wood god knows how easily it would be wiped out instantly when there was a storm.
