Cardan shook his head in disappointment before leaving the room. Some of the shareholders needed to be dealt with least they continue on ruining the company's income.

"You leaving already" James called for him after he finished talking to a few other stakeholders who wanted to introduce their children off to Cardan but James managed to push them away before they could even utter the names of their daughters.

"Yes, didn't I tell you that I'd be returning back just as quickly" Cardan replied as he made his way to the elevator with James following him.

"Your mother-" James started.

"Already told her, she's fine with it as long as I visit her as soon as I return from the trip. You can hold the forge while I'm gone" Cardan turned to his father who was giving him a death stare.

He smirked in response.
