Before cooking, Ye Zhenzhen took off her long down jacket as the temperature inside had already become warmer and was now cozy.
Song Yuchen followed suit, removing his down jacket and then stretching out his little arms to roll up his sleeves.
The kitchen had new aprons for both adults and children. Ye Zhenzhen tied aprons on herself and Xiao Chen, then they discussed what dishes to make for lunch first.
"It's too late now to start stewing soup, we are all very hungry. How about I stir-fry some Chinese cabbage for you, then make a dish of sautéed carrots and pork?"
Ye Zhenzhen looked at Song Yuchen, seeking the little fellow's opinion.
Song Yuchen glanced at the charcoal grill placed on the cupboard next to him and asked, "Mommy, you said earlier that this grill can be used to barbecue meat, when will we barbecue meat?"
