Chapter 134

Imu slowly raised her right hand.

On the map, Sabaody Archipelago was marked, but not for long.

Simultaneously,

Above the Sabaody Archipelago,

Enormous beams of light descended from the heavens, striking down upon Sabaody Archipelago.

"Boom..."

A resounding explosion shook the area.

With a deafening roar,

Entire Sabaody Archipelago was engulfed in a massive explosion.

In an instant, almost everything was reduced to ashes.

The explosion created towering waves, reaching hundreds of meters into the sky.

"Boom...Boom!!"

"Boom...Boom!!"

As the surroundings gradually calmed down,

As the chaos subsided, everyone could see the Sabaody Archipelago had ceased to exist, leaving only an expansive ocean below.

The vast sea now stretched below where once stood Sabaody Archipelago.

At that very moment,

Above the once-thriving Sabaody Archipelago, which now disappeared leaving only destruction in its wake, as it sunk into the sea.

Carnes had entered the state of Sage of Six Paths.

He was hovering mid-air, accompanied by Ulquiorra.

"Damn it!"

Carnes growled.

From him, this situation was eerily similar to the event that happened at God's Valley. It actually mirrored it.

"Let's go!" Carnes swiftly flew in the direction of their docked ship.

As they reached the ship, they saw that Tatsumaki and the others also returned.

Fortunately, the situation was far better than Carnes had anticipated.

Both the Eternal Gale and affiliated pirate ships remained unscathed, as they were out of the reach of that attack.

"Hey, hey, what just happened?" the captain of one of the affiliated pirate groups anxiously inquired, his heart still racing.

If not for the timely intervention of Escanor, Obito, and Deva Path Pain moments ago,

It was sure that they might have been reduced to mere ashes.

"What was that... does anybody know about it? All of a sudden, a torrent of light beams rained down from above."

Bonney stammered, her shock evident. She was shaken to her core.

The danger had left her too stunned to react properly.

She couldn't help but feel lingering fear at the thought of what might have occurred if they hadn't been there to protect them.

The fear gripped her heart.

She thought if she was to face such a devastating blow, she might have been left with nothing, surely burned to ashes.

"That light attack was really pathetic Lord Carnes; it wasn't even that strong and did no damage to both me and Albedo but still we had to protect Power."

"But still what happened there, Captain?" Tatsumaki asked Carnes curiously, her puzzlement mirrored by the others who had been merrily loading supplies onto the ship just moments before.

As, only moments ago, they had been happily loading supplies onto the ship.

Suddenly, an unexpected scene appeared as cascade of light descended from the sky, and showered down, creating huge explosions, even entirely destroying Sabaody Archipelago.

"What more could possibly go wrong?" Carnes muttered, gazing up at the sky.

"Who else but the World Government, huh?"

With a wry smile, he added, "If only those folks knew we came out of this unscathed. I wonder what expressions they'd wear. That's something I'd love to witness, the looks on their faces."

Without further ado, Carnes landed back on the ship's deck.

However, his attention was quickly diverted as he spotted a blond woman crouched beneath the ship's guardrail.

"Who's she?" he inquired.

"I overheard her mention she's from the news agency," replied Escanor nonchalantly.

"I don't know if she'll be of any use to us, Captain, but I saved her regardless, it was just on a whim."

Escanor's decision to intervene was solely triggered by the mention of Carnes' name by the blonde woman.

Carnes, not particularly interested in the girl, remained indifferent to her presence and inquired,

"How are the preparations coming along? Is everything progressing smoothly?"

"It's not looking too optimistic," Demiurge reported.

"Many of our supplies were obliterated by that attack, before we could retrieve them."

Carnes nodded in understanding, offering a faint smile, "Don't worry we'll get necessary supplies during the sail to our next destination."

Then he looked at the blond woman, "Consider yourself fortunate; we'll let you ride our ship until we reach next island."

"Thank you!" the blonde woman exclaimed, still somewhat dazed.

"Captain, it appears we've found ourselves in yet another predicament. It seems these troublesome guys can't let us rest peacefully," a sudden voice chimed in.

Perched atop a mast, Obito sat cross-legged, supporting his head with one hand as he spoke.

At Obito's words, all eyes turned towards the sea.

Not far off, Carnes spotted five Marine warships closing in on them, with a familiar face in the midst of it all – a member of the God's Knights.

Not just a member, but the commander of the God's Knights.

"Well, well..." Carnes sighed, running a hand over his forehead. He couldn't help but smirk as he muttered.

"Huh....Today just keeps getting better. All my enemies have come knocking at my door. Excellent."

"All members of the Gale Emperor Pirates, prepare for battle!" he ordered.

"Ready the ship, everyone!"

"Yes, Captain!" they roared.

"What's going on?" Figarland Garling furrowed his brow.

His expression grew tense as he observed Carnes and his crew.

Their presence hadn't gone unnoticed by Carnes either.

"It appears that things have taken an unexpected turn." Garling couldn't help but mutter.

"Yes, it seems... quite different from what we anticipated," one of the members of the God's Knights also remarked.

Initially, the members of the God's Knights, including the Five Elders, had believed that Carnes' and Gale Emperor Pirates had taken a heavy beating from both Kaido, Big Mom and their crews.

Even if they survived Kaido and Big Mom, they had surely thought Gale Emperor Pirates would be on the brink of annihilation after facing 'that' attack.

However, the current situation painted a very different picture.

As events unfolded, it became clear that the Gale Emperor Pirates were far from defeated.

"Could it be....," Garling wondered.

"Did Carnes just happen to be out of the range of attack when it hit Sabaody Archipelago?" Garling pondered aloud.

Uncertainty filled the air.

"Commander, should we halt the plan?" one of his subordinates inquired.

Garling didn't answer immediately. Instead, he turned to a scout and inquired, "What's the current status of the Gale Emperor Pirates?"

"Report, it appears that... no one among them has even been slightly injured."

"What?" Garling exclaimed baffled.

"No one was hurt?"

He was visibly surprised to the fact that, one of the strongest attacks of Lord Imu couldn't do any damage to Gale Emperor Pirates.
