Chapter 7: A Stinky Security Guard

Everyone was cheering and applauding for the person who donated $200,000. They were praising and giving best wishes to the unknown person. The donation event was even broadcast on television.

"Okay, let the donation ceremony continue. Next, we have the employee of the 3rd branch to donate the money.", The head of the personnel department said.

Now, people were not focusing on donation ceremony anymore. In everyone's mind, only a single thought was revolving…. Who donated $200,000?

Finally, the donation ceremony was over. The chairman stood from her seat and was first to leave the hall followed by the vice-president and heads of the respective departments.

They were all beaten by someone unknown… Beaten by a hidden super-rich who anonymously donated $200,000.

All employees went back to their work.

After the shift was over, the employees started leaving back to their houses and dormitories.

In Global Group's dormitory….

Lucas Wilde was too much excited and he couldn't wait to discuss the surprising event that took place in the donation ceremony.

"What is the perspective of you guys about this world now? Last night a super-rich, a hidden tycoon, and a local tyrant directly gifted $10,000 worth of gifts in the broadcast. Now, someone in the donation ceremony, still unknown to anyone, donated $200,000. What the hell is going on? Does the money for these people fall from the sky", Lucas was jealous as well as envy the person when he asked these from his friends.

"There are many rich people who are still present in the world but a super-rich who is also so kind… for the first time I got to know that these people also exist. This rich guy not only hit the face of that old bastard Michael Hendrix last night but also destroyed Chairman's ego and attitude within half an hour after the donation started. Haven't you seen the chairman's face which was stunned hearing the robotic and then she sat down making a face like a rustic woman?" Gabriel Parks said that loud.

"There's no difference, even if she has a good figure but if you let her wear those rustic style clothes, she won't look different from those women.", Lucas Wilde started laughing.

Seeing him others also started laughing at his words.

Meanwhile, Brice was thinking if he wasn't horrified at the time, he would have donated a little more. Although he wanted to donate $2 million, he was full of fear that it could lead him to reveal his identity.

In the afternoon, in the meeting room when Mary Laces learned about the donation of more than $200,000, she was stunned and directly froze standing there only.

After getting back to normal, she asked, "Sir, why is there so much money being reflected here?" She was still in shock but keeping control over herself and after becoming calm, asked about this.

The Head of the personnel department shook his head, he didn't know how would he answer it to Mary Laces. Finally, the Head of the personnel department spoke up.

"There were many employees and someone donated $200,000 directly being anonymous. I or others, none of us know a single thing apart from this." the head of the personnel department nodded looking at her.

Mary Lances was surprised after knowing this and a cute smile appeared on her happy face which blushed after a long time.

In the Dormitory…..

Brice Turner was sitting in the security guards dormitory and the other three were still talking about the hidden local tyrant.

"Knock, knock…"

Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

Lucas Wilde stood from his place, walked over and opened the door. He was surprised to see a girl standing at the door of their dormitory.

" Hi, Alisha…. What's the matter with you? You are here at such a time.", Lucas Wilde asked strangely.

"Lucas… that…. I only want to ask if you guys are free tonight.", Alisha Campbell asked.

"Yeah, we all are single looking to mingle. Who do you think would be busy here?", Lucas said lazily.

"That's the best thing, then you all are invited to dinner tonight and the bill is on me.", Alisha Campbell said.

All the four boys were dumbfounded and confused. Was she happy listening that we are single and have no one in our life or she was happy that we are free and can come to her party.

Alisha Campbell looked at their confused faces and finally remembered that she hasn't told the reason behind the party.

" Oh… I am sorry guys I was so excited that I almost forgot to say you why I am throwing this party. You won't believe, I already have more than 5000 fan followings!", Alisha said in a very excited tone. She was so happy that she was like having no control over herself while speaking this.

Lucas Wilde blinked his eyes, what does she mean by 5000 fan followings in a single day? Am I hallucinating or is it real?

Lucas came back to his senses.

"Fine, there will be no problem with that. I will surely come." Lucas said.

Alisha was still standing at the door. She was curiously looking inside the boy's dormitory where she had never been.

Brice saw her standing at the door.

After giving a glance at her he spoke, "Hey, Alisha, why are you standing there? Come in." Brice greeted.

Alisha Campbell hesitated a little bit but she put a step inside the dormitory and walked in.

"What? Alisha is going to treat guests tonight? Then it's a must for the invited ones to go.", Gabriel Parks patted his chest.

Ethan Morrison also nodded.

"What about you, Brice?" Lucas Wilde looked at Brice Turner.

"I… I won't go anywhere.", Brice thought for a moment and then replied.

"Why won't you go? Let me reveal a dark secret. Many pretty and single girls will also attend the party tonight. And, since they are also single, you should know what I mean…", Alisha Campbell said mysteriously.

When the other three heard about this, saliva from their mouth started pouring out. It was obvious, whether Brice wanted to go or not, they would not leave this opportunity. The other three together confirmed that they are down for the party.

"Brice you see you should be excited for the party. Don't you think it is a chance for you to get someone who would walk beside you holding your hand.", Lucas said.

"Yes, that's true, if you go then you will have a chance to see the world, see someone who would like you the way you are. But if you won't go there will never be a chance! Moreover, I just want to tell you, brother…., Although the last time the girl you found was selfish and a gold-digger that doesn't means you will always have the same treatment. Brice Turner was Speechless at the moment.

In a large private room, a group of young and beautiful girls were sitting and laughing while talking to each other.

"Hey, sister Alisha… what about the boys you said would come? Won't we be the only ones sitting and enjoying by ourselves.", a girl among them giggled and asked Alisha Campbell teasing her.

"How is that possible? This isn't the time, we are a bit early. They will be coming soon. What's wrong with you? Can you have a little bit of patience?" Alisha Campbell answered.

"Yes, yes you're right…. but the fact is this old lady has been single for a long time and has no patience left in her.", the girl blushed and started leaning over her. The other girls also felt shy and started leaning over each other and blushing. For them what would they do if in their world there would be no man?

Suddenly, the door of the private room was pushed open. There was silence in the room. Although the girls were excited inside, they kept their mouths shut and calmed their expressions not to look like a nympho.

The girl inside looked at them with big eyes and found that they were all from the company.

Doesn't she know the security guards working in the company?

"Alisha…. I was asking that…. Have you only called four?", Clara Bow asked in a low voice.

Alisha Campbell blinked and didn't answer in words. She greeted Brice Turner as they sat down first.

The atmosphere of the private room became a little bit awkward and embarrassing in an instant. No one spoke in that situation.

Brice Turner looked up and saw a girl sitting in front of him. His facial expression changed and he froze on the spot. She was none other than Lara Jane sitting right opposite to him playing with her for looking down.

"Alisha… when will we have our dinner?" Lucas Wilde broke the silence and laughed while asking.

"It's almost time, a few people haven't arrived yet. Just waiting for them to join." Alisha picked up the teapot and pour a cup of tea to Lucas Wilde.

Lucas Wilde was looking at Lara Jane all the time since he came but Brice Turner was surprised when he saw that Lucas actually took the initiative to talk to Lara Jane.

"Lara Jane… I heard that you recently hooked up with a local rich guy?" Lucas Wilde spoke.

This one statement which came out of Lucas Wilde's mouth made the whole atmosphere of the private room a bit weird.

Lara Jane put down her phone, took a breath and said, "What happened if it is? Does that have anything to do with you?" Lara Jane gave a fierce look at Lucas Wilde. As for Brice Turner, she didn't even give a single glance at him.

"No, no when did I say that? Obviously, it has nothing to do with me. But, as I and Brice consider each other brother, I still want to thank you on behalf of him. Thank you for the mercy you bestowed upon my brother Brice Turner. You know, finally, my brother can afford to treat himself to nice and expensive meals and that too in a good restaurant.", Lucas Wilde answered mockingly.

Lara Jane's face became red.

"What do you mean by that? Do you want to say that I spent his money?" Lara Jane spoke in a sharp tone.

"Why? Do you think I am wrong? Don't you spend his money?" Lucas Wilde spoke straightforwardly looking at Lara Jane in her eyes.

Lara Jane's expression became a bit embarrassing. She suddenly stood up from where she sat and started scolding Lucas Wilde, "What do you mean by that?"

Alisha Campbell hurriedly stood up and tried to stop Lara Jane from being aggressive. But, Lara Jane who was so angry this time didn't care about anything or anyone directly threw away Alisha Campbell's hand.

On the other side, Brice was sitting calmly and didn't speak a word. He was looking at Lara Jane's expression as if her face was still smiling at him like before. But now he despised her eyes and his thoughts about her.

"Are you still a man? You don't have to ability to take your girlfriend to have a meal at a restaurant or even to feed her and you think there's no reason for me to be apart from you? Your friend is speaking right. I tell you once again, what he said is the truth. I do have a new boyfriend now. And, You will feel shame to know he is not like you. He regularly brought me expensive fruits and even bought an authentic branded Louis Vuitton handbag. I want to ask you. Can you ever be able to afford that for me?

Lara Jane was even more angry when after a long scolding by her, Brice was still silent. He didn't utter a word. Moreover, when she looked into Brice's eyes, she saw that instead of anger in his eyes, he actually has mercy for her in her eyes, which aroused her anger even more.

"I am not interested…. By the way, I just forgot to say something to you. Congratulations from me on finding a new boyfriend!", Brice was forced to speak so he finally, broke his silence.

"You are not interested. What do you mean by that? Then, why the hell did you let Lucas Wilde bark here? Do you still think that others don't know that you are still a stinky security guard in the company.", Lara Jane did not hesitate to scold him and speak whatever came into her mouth.

Brice Turner rubbing his forehead stood up with his eyes full of anger.

"Okay, okay… everything is okay guys. Please don't quarrel any more." Alisha Campbell calmed down everyone while standing and taking a round of the room.

Alisha earlier thought that Brice Turner and Lara Jane had not broken up yet, but to her surprise, she didn't expect that it really happened…..

Once again the door of the private room was opened and from the door, two young men entered the private room.

When Alisha Campbell saw them she greeted them with a smile.

'Harry and Noah…. How you guys took so much time to come. Although you are a little bit late, the feast hasn't started and we had been looking for you two to join. Come on, now sit quickly." Alisha greeted.

Brice glanced at these two men who just entered the room. Harry Gray and Noah Wilson, one is working in the company's technical department while the other one was in the sales department of the company!

These two departments were the most popular department in the company.

When the several girls who were present in the room saw them they greeted each one of them with full energy and excitement. When the two were walking in the expression of the girls was completely like fallen for them in an instant.

"Hey… aren't these four guards of our company from the security department. Alisha… You invited them too.", Harry Gray glanced at them and sat on the other side and asked with a smile.

"Harry…. Lucas Wilde and others watched my live broadcast when I started and all my friends gave a shout-out to me. Also, Lucas Wilde supported me in the live broadcast.", Alisha Campbell smiled and explained.

Harry Gray looked at Lucas Wilde.

"Lucas Wilde! Am I right? Well, I heard from Michael Hendrix that you are not honest with your work recently. I don't know if this time you will withdraw the salary late?" Harry Gray asked sarcastically.
