Chapter 76 - Smartness

Kaito feels the impact as the blade of his sword locks onto the spider's abdomen. He tries to pull the sword back hard, but it is stuck, and the creature flails in response to the pain and threat.

Time seems to flow in slow motion as Kaito struggles to free his sword. Now, every second will be crucial, and he feels the weight of urgency increase as the other spiders are enraged by his attacks earlier. With an extra dose of determination, Kaito finally manages to free his sword. However, the momentary delay costs him dearly, allowing one of the spiders to come dangerously close. Its menacing jaws open, but the Duelist uses his sword to stop the two jaws from slicing him in half.

However, Kaito's sword once again gets stuck.

Kaito thinks for a second about what he should do, and before he can come up with an idea, the third Silk Bulb Spider charges toward him with one of its legs.
