Even if you are a god

Looking at the dumbstruck physician Meng Xiao understands his thought. She doesn't understand how to explain herself so she pretends to not know anything about it.

"I did nothing it's all your special... " Before the physician could complete his words the door to meng xiao's room opened and a worried Meng Yan rushed in. He almost died of suspense because since the door close and the physician entered he strained his ears to hear something but the quietness made him scared.

He knew what he did was wrong, no herbalist can do anything about an awakening but he just threatened this poor man with his life to save his daughter's life.

Before the physician could complete his words meng yan cut him short. "No need to be polite, you did your job and you need to be rewarded," Meng Yan said.

"I will excuse you now," the physician said as he left the father and daughter with a happy expression. He did nothing but he is rewarded with a pouch of gold. "Today must be my lucky day," the physician thought inwardly as he hid the pouch of gold in his robe as if to prevent someone from stealing it.

"Thank god you are alive, I can't afford to lose you like your mother" meng yan said as he hugged meng xiao with wet eyes.

It is clear that when her mother was alive, her parent was deeply in love with each other.

Seeing his show of affection, meng xiao can not bring herself to tell him that his beloved daughter is dead and the person he is seeing is a transmigrated goddess.
