Sarell gingerly opened Reqiel's door at sunrise the next day, he had ordered that the servants stay away from the third Prince for the time being. He had wanted to come sooner but there would have been nothing to do and he was a little terrified to encounter an awake Reqiel.

So he was stunned speechless when Reqiel peeked at him over his covers and then pretended to be asleep when their eyes met. He had to stand at the door for a few seconds and take a deep breath to calm down.

It was a little frightening to have things go back to the way they used to be, "Your Grace?" Sarell said steadily, hoping that the tremble in his voice wasn't visible, "I know you're awake."

"I'm not," Reqiel's muffled response came and Sarell had never been so glad to hear him blatantly lie.
