Billionaire's Ex Wife Returned With Twins

"You can now see the patient." The nurse came out of the hospital room and said.

Arabella was almost at the verge of losing her calm and shouting at the nurses. When the door of the room opened, she  immediately got inside, following everyone else, including her husband, Damien. 

Damien Rodriguez, the youngest billionaire in the state. Arabella's husband. Or at least, her husband by law.

In the room lies his sister, Olivia Rodriguez.

Olivia has a bandage around her forehead. She fell down the stairs a few hours ago which gave her this severe head injury. 

"Olivia? How are you feeling now?" Damien asked in a worried tone as he sat down beside her. Olivia immediately threw her arms around him, holding him tightly and started weeping. 

"I'm sorry, but we couldn't save your baby, Olivia," the doctor said after checking and putting Olivia on the drip.

The doctor's words seemed to be like a death sentence to Arabella. Her heart dropped to her stomach as she started putting the future pieces together. Now, everyone in the family and city will think and believe that she harmed Olivia intentionally, even her husband, Damien. He was going to believe his sister only!

Olivia began crying hysterically, holding Damien who had her hand gently on her shoulder. "Why? Why must this happen to me, Damien? I've lost my love, and now I lost the only gift he left me. I've lost our baby!"

Olivia was Damien's sister whose engagement with her fiance, Robin, broke a month ago for cheating on Olivia and Damien threatened him out of Olivia's life. He had rumors of going after Arabella as well. 

Olivia's wail was very heartbreaking for everyone. But if only Arabella didn't know the truth, she would have been deeply moved to tears by her performance as well. The portrayal of a heartbroken woman, grieving the loss of her child, was so convincing that it evoked strong emotions in the onlooker except Arabella.

"Bitch!" A slap on Arabella's face left everyone in shock.

It was Damien's almost bride and his ex lover, Monica. She suddenly approached Arabella and raised her hand high, giving her a slap on the cheek!

Arabella wasn't expecting it.

Arabella held her cheek and looked at Monica in shock before moving her eyes to her husband who just looked at them coldly with no intention of scolding his 'Friend'.

"Are you happy now?" Monica glared at Arabella. "You have killed her baby! You are so evil and heartless! How could you do this to her?! Just because of you have an affair with Robin doesn't mean you can hurt her!" Monica shouted in rage. 

Arabella ignored Monica and moved toward Damien. Her eyes were pleading as she tried to explain, "Damien, please listen to me, I can explain.."

"What can you explain? You heartlessly pushed my sister off the staircase and jumped with her so everyone thinks that you were also a victim. How vicious are you?" Damien asked in a cold tone while glaring at her directly into the eyes, sending chills down her spine. 

"I didn't push her! She fell down the stairs herself and pulled me along! Please believe me! And I didn't have an affair with Robin..." 

"Do you think everyone is stupid and blind? Why would Olivia jump off the stairs when she knows it's dangerous for her condition?" Damien snarled, his eyes narrowing suspiciously.

"I am trying to figure that out too! But I really didn't push her!" Arabella kept trying to defend herself, her voice shaking. But no one paid heed to her words.

"Enough!" Damien roared, his Alpha aura erupting like a storm, making everyone, including Arabella, cower in fear. "Stop lying and trying to slander my sister. She's suffered enough because of you."

"You've killed my sister's baby. Kneel and apologize to Olivia," Damien said coldly, his tone slicing through the tension like a blade.

His words made Arabella freeze in her spot again, a sinking feeling settling in her chest.

"I'm not going to kneel or apologize. I didn't do anything wrong," Arabella growled. Why would she apologize for something she hasn't done, much less kneel? The very idea of doing those two things was humiliating, a bitter pill she was reluctant to swallow. Anger surged within her.

"If you don't kneel and apologize sincerely, I will divorce you and throw you out of the house," he said indifferently, the weight of his words hanging in the air like a heavy cloud. "You were cheating on me anyway."

She froze again, disbelief crashing over her in waves. He was ready to cast her aside and dissolve their marriage over something she didn't do? The reality of his words struck her like a physical blow, a painful reminder that she was nothing more than a contracted bride in his eyes.

"You cannot do that to me, Damien! I am your wife! I didn't have any relationship with Olivia's fiance, nor did I push Olivia down!" She said in desperation. In that moment, she felt more isolated than she had ever felt in her life.

He stood up and came to stand before her, his presence overpowering. Reaching out his hand, he pinched her chin forcefully, his grip a painful reminder of his authority.

"Who would believe a vicious woman who's full of lies, like you? All the proofs are against you, Monica saw it with her own eyes. Now apologize or get lost!"Damien demanded.

From the corners of her eyes, she saw Monica smirk, a cruel satisfaction in her expression, while Olivia wore a ruthless look that made Arabella's heart sink further.

"I don't like to repeat my words, Arabella. Kneel and apologize or divorce you," Damien's voice was as cold as ice, his threat chilling her to the bone.

"I will NEVER kneel or apologize for something I didn't do," Arabella said, her voice trembling with stubborn determination as she locked eyes with him, making her final stand.

"Then get out of my house right this moment, and don't you dare to appear in front of me again. You have 2 hours to pack up your things and get lost." He uttered those words even before she could blink her eyes and instantly dropped down to her knees as pain spread throughout her body. She looked at him with tears and disbelief in her eyes. She didn't even have the energy or strength to even say a word. 

She got up with the help of the wall and slowly left the hospital as everyone around them was watching it and whispering in a voice that Arabella can hear.

"I can't believe that woman dared to push her own sister-in-law down the staircase."

"Who would have thought that she was so vicious and evil?"

"Isn't it obvious that she was jealous? She was always interested in Olivia's fiance. Arabella must've thought that she could have Olivia's fiance by getting rid of her!"

"What a bitch! Already married and is still thinking about someone else's fiancé."

Their words overwhelmed Arabella with humiliation and anger.  Why did it turn out this way?

Stepping outside the hospital, looking at the starless night sky, she felt tears stinging her eyes again.

She went back to their home. In another 2 hours, she would never be able to step in this house ever again.

Looking at the room that she had always kept clean, her heart stinged. Two years of acting like a perfect wife and trying to gain his love went down the drain.

Her family kicked her out. Now Damien also kicked her out. 

She didn't know where she would go now. All she had at that moment was her phone and her car.

She started up her car and started driving without a direction.

But suddenly a white light came out of nowhere blinded her!

She tried to move out of the moving truck when she realized it was coming for her only!

Crash!

The truck hit the side of the car, sending Arabella rolling down the side of the road!

She felt pain all over her body and blood run down from her head and blurred her eyesight. Her consciousness began to fade.

With the tiny bit of consciousness, she saw the labeling of the truck. 

"Rodriguez Foundation."

It's...Damien?

But before her mind could process with the information,

Bang! 

with another blow, her car rolled down the cliff, and she completely lost her consciousness.
