Chapter 6: Why Voldemort Hunted Harry (Edited)

Nick Hunt felt amused, knowing that with just one spoiler, he could make them fight each other.
"Hey System, what's wrong with Severus Snape? He looks like he's about to cry."
"I thought you were a fan of Harry Potter, but you don't even know about Snape? His emotions are unstable right now. When he lost Lily, he cried with regret and was willing to join Dumbledore. After seeing future Lily being killed, his emotions are all over the place. That's why he rebuked Mulciber's words and let Lily use his invention for free."
"I was a fan, but I needed confirmation. I can't jump to my own conclusions."

Roderick reminisced about the past. His daughter didn't want to marry another pureblood because they were at least 10 years older than her. She begged him to let her marry a half-blood, but he refused and threatened to disown her. After that, she ran away, and in anger, he disowned her and blocked her from the wizarding community. The last time he heard, she had run away to the Muggle community and married someone named Tobias Snape.
"Honey, I think we should visit Snape. He's our grandson."
"I want to meet him too, but I don't know what to say to him. Don't you remember that we abandoned his mother?"
"Will he accept us as his elders?"

Snape was in critical condition, and Madam Pomfrey was shocked by his state. Mulciber and Avery were being held and might get longer detention, but they didn't really care because they had already received the Dark Mark from the Dark Lord. If they were expelled, they could still learn magic from other Death Eaters.
Nick Hunt wanted to add a bit of drama, so he put in a command, "Let Lily think that the reason Snape didn't want to separate from Mulciber and Avery was that he was being threatened," and another command, "James Potter mocked Snape for making Death Eaters fight each other."
When the command was executed, Lily felt a bit of regret. She somehow knew why Snape stuck with Mulciber and rejected her advice. Then, James Potter started bragging about his success in making Death Eaters attack each other. Lily wanted to rebuke James, but she didn't want to make Snape's life more difficult. She hoped she would meet Sev and ask him for his true reason.

"Wow, that's a lot of drama. Unfortunately, I don't have popcorn."
"Because I don't want to waste any more time, let's watch this video. Oops, before that, what I'm showing you is not just images but a video. A video produces sound and a longer recording than moving images." It's unnecessary, but I feel annoyed that they always said 'the images shown,' so I wanted to educate them a bit.
The video lights up and shows a magical protection being activated after Lily is killed. The Killing Curse was rebounded because her sacrifice gave Harry the power of love, a protection spell sealed with the blood spilled by her death. After another confrontation with Voldemort, Quirrell's face turned to ashes after being touched by Harry. Then followed Nick Hunt's voice.
"Because of her love for Harry Potter, the protection spell managed to protect Harry until he was 17 years old. His mother's power will protect him until he becomes an adult."
"The pureblood families didn't want the Muggle-born wizard to get her fame, even though she was already dead, so Harry was hailed as a hero who managed to kill the Dark Lord at just one year old."
"There are many books written about Harry and his legends, but they didn't include his mother's sacrifice as the only magic that managed to defeat the Dark Lord."
