"Unlike the other dungeons, this one doesn't spawn skeletons often…" Kane thought when he found another dead end. "This might be bad for leveling up… maybe things will be different on the next levels."

Kane's suspicion grew stronger as he considered the possibility that the system was deliberately messing with them. Making creatures similar to himself, like those other skeletons, fight each other seemed like a sly move. After all, it demanded a hefty investment of ten thousand reincarnation points to take on the form of a skeleton. But the cruel twist was that dying so swiftly after spawning would force them to restart, possibly from the bottom rung as something as basic as a slime. The stakes were indeed high in this world, where the risks of losing ground and progress loomed ominously.

In any case, after fighting five skeletons, Kane finally had some room to breathe or perhaps that wouldn't be the right thing to say given that he was only bones.
