Conference Call Drama

As the serious conversation came to an end, the atmosphere in the room lightened, and all three of them sat back and started to relax.

Shine spoke, "Everyone in the family is planning a holiday at our farmhouse. This could be a perfect opportunity for you Kookie to spend time with Taehyung Oppa and sort out your problems."

Kookie glanced at Shine and said, "Shine, you really are our informer. You always keep tabs on everything that's going on in our families."

Shine chuckled and replied, "What can I say? It's just my way of staying updated and see, this sometimes help me solving problems."

Eunwoo joined in, teasingly saying, "That's why I like you, Shine. If you hadn't have fallen for Hobi Hyung, then I might have proposed to you."

Shine laughed, rolling his eyes, "Oh, Eunwoo, stop flirting with me. You know I'm not interested. My heart belongs to Hobi Oppa, so there's no chance for you."

Kookie interrupted their banter, feeling tired, "Enough, both of you. Stop your flirting. I'm really exhausted, so I'm going to freshen up. Let's go out and see a movie afterward."

Shine agreed, "Same here, I'll also go freshen up. Mr. Jeon, please call everyone whose calls you missed. They were genuinely worried about you."

Kookie reassured them, "Don't worry, I'll call them tomorrow."

The next day, Kookie decided to call Suga to explain his absence.

"Hey, Hyung, what's up?" Kookie greeted him.

Suga's voice sounded concerned, "Where have you been? Do you have any idea how worried we all were about you?"

Kookie paused for a moment and replied, "Sorry, hyung. I was just busy and couldn't answer your calls or get back to you."

Suga's tone was slightly reproachful, "You didn't answer anyone's call, not just mine."

Realizing he needed to address everyone's concerns, Kookie asked for a moment and initiated a conference call, connecting with all the members.

"Hello, guys, what's up?" Kookie greeted them.

Namjoon's voice came through, slightly irritated, "Where have you been? We've been trying to reach you."

Jimin chimed in, "Yeah, we were so worried when you didn't answer our calls."

Hobi added, "Tell us quickly what happened."

Kookie tried to calm them down, "Relax, everyone. Nothing happened. I was just caught up with training and practice, and I missed your calls and forgot to call back. That's all."

Taehyung interjected skeptically, "Really? Or are you hiding something?"

Kookie responded defensively, "Like you really care."

Jin intervened, concerned, "What happened? Why this behavior with each other, what's going on between you too?"

Suga pointed out, "Exactly, what happened now? Seems like you both fought and please don't tell me it is again related to some silly video games?"

Taehyung clarified, "We didn't fight. He's the one not answering anyone's calls."

Kookie retorted, "Oh, please, Taehyung. At least these people called me and were worried about me. But you didn't even call to know about my whereabouts."

Taehyung defended himself, "I did call you, but your line was busy. And as I mentioned earlier, I've been busy with work and don't have much time."

Kookie argued back, "You're not the only busy person in the world. We're all busy, but we still manage to make time for each other."

Shine, who had been silently listening, decided to intervene, "Hello, everyone. As you all always forget but I'm also on this call. Taehyung Oppa and Kookie, continue your fight some other time? We're all tired of your constant conflicts. Please sort it out among yourselves."

Suga agreed, "That's true. Please, both of you, stop fighting like kids."

Taehyung and Kookie reluctantly apologized, "Sorry, Hyungs."

Namjoon interjected, "Don't apologize. Just please sort out your problem before we come back. Okay?"

Taehyung and Kookie promised, "Yes."

Jimin, changing the topic, asked Jin, "Jin Hyung, how's your honeymoon going?"

Jin happily replied, "It's going amazingly well. I'm loving every moment I spend with my hubby."

Their playful banter caused everyone to cough, pretending they hadn't heard Jin referring to Namjoon as his husband.

Jin quickly clarified, "What? He is my husband. Stop it, everyone."

Namjoon chimed in, "Come on, guys, don't tease my beautiful husband."

Hobi teased them, "Oh my god, you two have become so lovey-dovey after going on your honeymoon."

Namjoon explained, "You wouldn't understand, Hobi, but when you marry the love of your life, you become like this."

Jin whispered softly to Namjoon, making sure no one else heard, "Joon, stop it."

Hobi, oblivious to their whispered conversation, replied, "Yes, you're right, brother. Well, please excuse me, I have to go out for some work, so I'll talk to you all soon."

Namjoon, feeling guilty, quickly apologized, "Hobi, sorry."

Hobi, confused, asked, "What happened, Joon? Why are you apologizing? I really have to leave." After dropping the call, Hobi messaged Namjoon, "Joona, I know you didn't say that purposely and I understand. So please don't feel bad and enjoy your honeymoon. Take care, Bye."

Suga questioned Namjoon, "Why did you apologize to Hobi, Joon?"

Namjoon stumbled for an explanation, "Oh, I thought he might have felt bad when I said he wouldn't understand. That's all."

Jimin couldn't contain his curiosity, "But why would he feel bad about that?"

Jin, trying to divert their attention, interjected, "Guys, no more questions, whatever you need to ask, ask after we come back from our honeymoon. Right now, we have to go. And you two, Kookie and Tae, sort out your issues."

Namjoon and Jin bid everyone goodbye and ended the call.

Suga concluded, "I should also take my leave. I'll come and meet you this week, Kookie."

Kookie replied, "Sure, Hyung. Even I have to go now. Bye, everyone."

One by one, everyone said their goodbyes and returned to their respective work, hoping that Kookie and Taehyung would resolve their differences soon.
