LIMPING

In the evening, Adrian arrived at the mansion and directly went to look for Erika. Because of her, he had to stay in the prison overnight. The evidence that Felix had presented was only the recording of the call between Erika and the police officer.

They claimed that wasn't enough proof to put Adrian in prison but enough to have him watched. He was now a suspect in the kidnapping when he was actually the one who did it.

When he got to Erika's room, she wasn't there. He went back outside to check the garden and the library but she was nowhere to be found.

With rage, Adrian called the bodyguards and demanded, "Where's Erika?"

One of the heavy-suited men responded, "We saw her last at the garden before she left."

"And where did she go?"

The bodyguards glanced at each other but the same one replied, "We think she went back to her bedroom since we didn't see her come out anymore."
