Chapter Sixty-One

( SSS SANTANA)

Selina, Lola, and Jayden stepped onto the gargantuan cruise ship, their eyes widening with awe as they took in the grandeur of the fifth deck.

They were greeted by a friendly employee who offered them a complimentary carbonated drink, their glasses adorned with colourful cocktail umbrellas.

"Wow, this is incredible!" Selina exclaimed, taking a sip of her drink and savouring the refreshing flavour. "I can't wait to explore every inch of this ship, especially the jewellers, I heard they have one of the rarest blood diamonds in the world here." Selina said with a coquettish smile.

Both Lola and Jayden looked at Selina and both thought the same thing.' I need to make sure this one doesn't cause any trouble while we're here.'

'No she isn't the main problem, it's that little clown I should be worrying about, I gave them a few conditions if they wanted to go on this trip, going as their normal civilian personas were one of them. I just hope nothing goes wrong.' Lola thought while looking around.

"I heard there's so much to do here, from indulging in delicious food to enjoying live entertainment. There's supposedly even laser tag on one of the decks.

Jayden, equally enthused, turned to the girls. "So, what's the plan? Where do you want to start?"

Lola's stomach rumbled, reminding her of her hunger. "I don't know about you two, but I'm pretty famished. How about we drop off our things in our room first, and then head to the buffet on the 17th deck? I heard the buffet there is absolutely amazing."

Selina agreed wholeheartedly. "Sounds perfect to me! Let's go to our rooms and freshen up before we indulge in some mouthwatering delights."

They made their way to the elevators, joining the excited buzz of passengers embarking on their own holiday.

They ascended to the luxury deck on the 15th floor, they walked around for a bit before finally finding their room.

Jayden had booked the best luxury cabin there was, for obvious reasons but mainly because of the views and because he wasn't broke anymore.

' Thank you, master, I promise to make it up to one of these days.' Jayden thought great fully.

[ In a distant Himalayan mountain a withered Old monk, sitting in a lotus position slowly lifted his arm before forming a thumbs up.]

Upon reaching their rooms, Selina, Lola, and Jayden marvelled at the elegant decor and the breathtaking view of the ocean from their private balconies.

The room boasted luxurious amenities, such as free complimentary wines, and sweets.

"Wow, this room is even better than I imagined," Selina remarked, stepping onto the plush carpet and taking in the soothing ambience. "I could get used to this."

Lola, too, was captivated by the lavish surroundings. "I don't think I'll ever want to leave this room," she said, spinning around with a gleeful smile, as she then jumped backwards landing on the bed.

Jayden chuckled, feeling a sense of contentment wash over him. "Well, let's not get too comfortable. The buffet still awaits! You girls get ready and ill unpack a few things before heading out."

With a quick freshening up and a change of clothes, the trio left their rooms, eager to satisfy their appetites.

But before Jayden left he had looked over the boat schematics one last time, just to get a better layout of the cruise ship.

( Location: Beta Deck - 17)

As they walked down the corridor and entered the elevator once again, the excitement continued to build.

Reaching the 17th deck, they stepped into a world of culinary delights.

The aroma of delectable dishes filled the air, beckoning them toward the buffet restaurant. The expansive space was filled with a vibrant array of cuisine from around the world.

Selina's eyes widened as she surveyed the mouthwatering options. "Oh my God, where do we even begin? This place is a food lover's paradise!"

Lola nodded in agreement, her mouth watering at the sight of the bountiful spread. "I think I want to try a little bit of everything!"

They each grabbed a plate and eagerly explored the buffet stations, carefully selecting their desired dishes.

From fresh seafood and succulent roasts to vibrant salads and tantalizing desserts, the variety seemed endless.

Selina couldn't resist the allure of the sushi station, skillfully choosing a combination of nigiri, sashimi, and creatively rolled sushi. "I'm in sushi heaven!" she exclaimed, her eyes shining with delight.

Jayden opted for a plate filled with flavoursome international cuisines, sampling dishes from different regions.

" If this is only one restaurant I can't wait to see what the other 39 have in store, especially that Alice in Wonderland-themed restaurant on the ninth deck." Jayden remarked as he grabbed a plate with a Wagyu burger on it.

( I've never actually had Wagyu before, is it any good?)

As Jayden was picking up some Nice looking Tiramisu He heard overheard a conversation between a boy and what he assumed was his mother.

"Why is this meat so red mum, did they forget to cook it..." The kid said innocently as he pointed at a steak.

"Haha! No sweetie that's just how they cook it, that's what they call medium rare." She said trying to correct him.

"Huh, so they purposely don't cook it properly, and people like it like that, that's so weird, I like it when it's all brown..."

*PFUGHHHHHHHUUUU*

In his imagination, Jayden had just spat a mouthful of blood, at the blasphemy he had just heard.

"I especially like how many times I have to chew it before swallowing."

*PFUGHHHHHHHUUUU*

Jayden was then stabbed through the heart by that second statement.' H-how has that boy been raised...'

[ Shit he's losing too much blood, he needs transfusion immediately...] Some fictitious doctor arrived while trying to save Jayden but it was too late, he was already gone...

Lola's plate overflowed with a colourful amount of dishes. "I don't even know where to begin!" she exclaimed, her taste buds dancing with anticipation.

"Huh, Jayden what happened? Why do you look so white...and is that blood seeping out of your mouth," Lola asked concerned, before wiping the unknown red substance with her finger and licking it...

"Nope, it's just hot sauce..."

...

Finding a cosy table by the window, they settled in and began to indulge in their carefully curated feasts.

The conversation flowed as they shared their favourite discoveries, discussing the flavours, and textures.

"This is more than I could have imagined," Selina mused, savouring a perfectly seared piece of sushi. "The flavours, the ambience... it's pure bliss."

Lola raised her glass in a toast, her eyes sparkling with joy. "To new adventures, incredible flavours, and unforgettable moments!"

Both Jayden and Selina smiled and raised their Glasses.

They clinked their glasses together, Before indulging in all the food they just picked up.

....

(Outside the cruise!)

Meanwhile, just outside the port, two stunningly beautiful women walked out of a limousine.

Their looks immediately caught the attention of a few male locals.

Too bad for them they were immediately reprimanded by their girlfriends who cursed them in Italian and dragged them away by the ear.

If Either Lola, Selina or Jayden were there they would have immediately recognised the two.

" Ha-Ha-Ha, this is gonna be fun!!" One of the women said while strapping on her backpack.

While her companion made her way to the cruise while having the driver carry all her things.

How do you guys like your steaks cooked?
