"Hera, you…" Deborah stuttered, raising an injured finger at Hera. "You… knew?"

Hera drew a deep breath, closing her eyes momentarily before exhaling.

"Seeing that you're here and in that sorry state, I guess your retirement isn't as delightful as we all thought," she pointed out. "But I can't go with you, Deborah. Why would you even take me with you? Are you planning to kill me so you can hurt him?"
