Dominic and Heaven stayed quiet for minutes. Neither of them wanted the building silence in the car, but neither of them didn't know how to break it. Dominic just drove carefully, glancing at the side mirrors and rear mirrors from time to time. Their guards were still following them.

'Did I make a mistake?' she wondered to herself, sighing for the umpteenth time. 'I don't like this silence. Can't tell if it's awkward, but for sure, it makes me regretful. I feel like I did something terrible.'
Although Dominic and Heaven had their fair share of dull moments, she disliked this sort of silence. It was suffocating, making her anxiety spike.
She glanced at him once again. 'I wonder what's on his mind?' Heaven peeled her eyes from him and sighed once more.
