'I was supposed to be up with that man and… ahhh!' 

Valerie's eyes fluttered open, and a sharp gasp escaped her lips as she regained consciousness. The hazy fog that had enveloped her mind slowly lifted, revealing a dimly lit room filled with an air of tension. 

Her gaze locked onto Vincent, who sat stoically beside her, his presence commanding attention. Surrounding her were several men, their expressions a mixture of concern and guarded anticipation.

Vincent's voice, resonating with authority, broke the silence. "I see you've finally awakened," he remarked, his piercing eyes studying her intently, casting a penetrating light within the confines of the small room.
