CHAPTER 76 – ANOTHER DIMENSION (PART ONE)

In the previous chapter we see how after evolving Phione, our heroes are discovered and attacked by Tabitha and Maxie, as well as a few soldiers so they devise a plan to leave the place, which they get and quickly inform Looker of what happened, which was surprised to see that they only lasted a day and the amount of information they brought, as for Verity and Nancy, these also got the information they needed but discovered them and also had to flee the place.

"Mr. Looker, I hope you can reduce your sentence as much as possible, I mean, you helped us escape and kept the spy hidden, I think that's reason enough to reduce her sentence to the minimum" - I said.

Courtney looked at me in surprise for a moment.

The rest of the day passed quietly, we watched a few hours of movies and even the Pokémon had fun, we could not take them all out at the same time, but at times we took them out to play with each other, so it was a very quiet day, one of those days when you do nothing and just lie down and rest, You know what I'm talking about.

Before we knew it, the night had come and after a nice dinner, we went straight to sleep.

We woke up completely rested and energized, after a restful night's sleep, we already had enough energy to continue our journey, our next destination was Cinnabar Island, where we had to challenge Blaine.

Normally, we would have taken the car to go to Vermillion City and then take a boat that took us to Cinnabar Island and yes, in this world you did not have to use Surf in the south of Fuchsia City like in video games or anime, here all the trainers except for some specific cases, took by boat.

And that's what they all said, I preferred to wait one more day, but here democracy prevails so if 5 out of 6, and yes, Pikachu and Latias also voted yes, they agreed with the plan, then we would have to go today.

I was afraid that something similar was going to happen, yes, as you can imagine a few hours after starting our way, it began to rain in a huge way and lightning also fell from time to time.

"Run girls, we must find a place to take refuge!" – I said.

The girls nodded and we started running into the forest hoping to find somewhere to take refuge and soon, we found it.

It was a cave, but it was somewhat strange, we could not see beyond the entrance because it was completely dark and we could not see any Pokémon nearby despite the large amount of water that was falling.

"I don't know if we should go in there..." – Koharu said somewhat nervously.

"It's just a cave, plus only God knows when we'll find another shelter to shelter us" - I said.

Nancy and the others agreed so we entered the cave all together, but suddenly, everything was shrouded in darkness.

Ash, Dawn and Brock had managed to rekindle the flame of Volkner's passion for battles after observing a battle between Ash and Flint, but before their gym battle our heroes decide to rest because it would be Ash's last badge and the hardest of all Sinnoh.

"Guys, how about we go to the forest to train for tomorrow?" – suggested Ash.

"Come on, I'm sure the weather will hold, plus it's not cloudy enough!" – Ash said with a smile.

"Ash is right, plus I'll be able to make you a delicious meal" - Brock said.

After hearing this, Dawn and Piplup were convinced about this fact and our heroes decided to go to train for battle that would take place the next day.

Already in the forest.

Ash was training together with Pikachu and Infernape, while Torterra, Buizel and Gliscor were training on their own, but suddenly, a rumble was heard in a part of the forest, it seemed that lightning had fallen.

"What just happened?" - asked Dawn.

"It looks like lightning has been striked" - Brock said.

"Let's see what happened, if there was any injured we will have to help" - Ash said returning his Pokémon to his Pokéball.

Then Pikachu climbed onto his shoulder as usual and left while Dawn and Brock chased after him.

They quickly entered the forest until they reached the place where the noise was heard, it was a cave, but apart from that, there was nothing else.

"There's nothing...what was that sound then?" – Dawn wondered.

"Let's go to the cave to see" - Ash said.

And without warning he entered the cave to observe what had happened.

Dawn and Brock followed behind.

Ash and his friends continued walking until they heard a voice.

"Damn, where am I, what just happened?" – said the voice.

Then, after a few seconds of silence, the voice resounded.

"I see you are well, I am glad, but where are the others?" – asked the voice.

"Pika pi" – said another.

"Who's there?" - asked Ash alertly.

But suddenly, everyone was stunned because in front of him he was... Ash himself followed by Pikachu and a girl they didn't know.

I didn't know what happened, but when I realized I was lying on the floor with Pikachu and Latias next to me, they were already conscious and probably waiting for my awakening.

"Damn, where am I, what just happened?" – I asked myself clutching my head.

Pikachu and Latias denied as if they were telling me they had no idea.

"Well, I'm glad you're okay, but where are the others?" – I asked confused.

He could see the three of us, but neither Nancy nor Koharu nor Verity were around even though we all walked in together.

I slowly stood up, only to meet someone I never expected to meet, Ash, but I guess it was the original Ash and he was also in the Sinnoh saga because he had the clothes and was accompanied by Brock and Dawn.

"Who are you?" – asked the Prime Ash.

*Note: from now on we will call Sinnoh's Ash, "Ash Prime", so we will not confuse you.

"Me? Well, my name is Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town and this is my partner and best friend Pikachu and my partner Bianca, and who are you?" - I asked.

"You are Ash? But that can't be because Ash is me and this is my partner and best friend Pikachu" - said Ash Prime.

"I'm Ash too" - I said as he pointed at me.

Then we all fell silent for a few seconds until we finally reacted.

"Wait, how do we know you're Ash and not an imposter brought on by some kind of Pokémon?" – Dawn asked.

"I don't have any proof... wait a minute, do you know this girl over here?" – I asked, pointing to Latias.

Ash fixed for a few moments and then was shocked.

"Bianca?" - asked Ash confused.

"More or less, do you remember where you met her?" – I asked.

"In Alto Mare , in the Johto region where I also met..." – said Ash.

"Latios and Latias who sacrificed themselves to save the City from evildoers who used the MDA for their own purposes" – I finished.

"Wow... it seems to have happened a long time ago, okay, since you remember all that, then you must be me" - Ash nodded.

"I should have said that..." – I said with a smile.

"Are you saying it's an alternate Ash who traveled here for some reason?" - asked Brock.

"I already said that I am Ash but from another dimension and I am currently traveling with Kanto with my friends, the problem is that I separated from them and I do not know where they are" – I explained.

"Hey I'm curious, is she really Bianca?" – Ash Prime asked suddenly.

"You're insightful, so I guess there's no need to hide it, Latias" - I said.

Latias nodded and returned to his original form.

"Wow, it's Latias you remember, did you catch her?" - asked Ash Prime.
