Waking up, Dylan found himself in an unfamiliar bed, his left arm wrapped thickly in linen bandages. Not only did he have difficulty communicating with the injured limb, but he also had trouble dealing with the pain. To make matters worse, his entire body ached all over from the beatings that he received, leading him to recall the incidents that happened before he passed out from his injuries.

"This is unprecedented, we really did lose." Dylan thought to himself. Pained, he tried to turn to the direction where the footsteps came from.

"Patient, try not to move your body. When you were brought here by the soldiers, everybody thought you were a goner. At least be grateful for the treatment I have given you." an old voice spoke to him.

"Thank you, Dr. Glenn." A familiar voice spoke, addressing the old man as a doctor.
