Jin found himself on a perilous adventure in the desert kingdom of Arabasta. It took him some time to find Crocodile but he finally found him out.
It wasn't long before Jin's path crossed with that of Crocodile. Their meeting was far from subtle either.
Jin literally broke the front door and entered the Crocodile Cashino.
Jin actually also noticed Nico Robin there.
He has yet to learn her name thought but he will.
"Who are you," Crocodile asked, already pretty angry at the destruction of his casino.
"Jin Takashi. I am here to beat you" Jin smiled and said.
Then there was no more to talk about. The fight began.
The battle was intense from the very beginning. Jin displayed incredible martial arts skills, his powerful strikes aiming to incapacitate his foe. But Crocodile was not an ordinary opponent.
"This fucker was like Obito".
His mastery over the Suna Suna no Mi allowed him to transform into sand at will, making him impervious to conventional attacks. When Jin's fists struck, they simply passed through Crocodile's sand-like form.
Crocodile grinned, taunting Jin as he evaded his every blow. "You'll never defeat me. You can beat what you can't even touch." He said.
"Yeah same to you," Jin said and dodged almost everything Crocodile had to throw at him.
Jin was no stranger to adversity, and he knew that he needed to think quickly. He might be able to dodge everything but in the race of stamina, he is lost.
The one-piece is like that. Strong people in his world for days.
He analyzed the situation and realized that he couldn't engage Crocodile in a direct physical battle. Instead, he needed to find a way to exploit Crocodile's vulnerability.
It was at that moment that he recalled an interesting fact about Devil Fruit users – they couldn't swim.
"Hmm maybe drowning him will do" Jin thought.
With the wisdom of the seas on his side, Jin formulated a cunning strategy. He manoeuvred Crocodile near a vast pool of water that had gathered in a nearby oasis, remnants of a recent sandstorm. As the two continued their deadly dance, Jin skillfully lured Crocodile toward the water's edge.
And then he did smile.
Crocodile saw that the Jin in front of him suddenly vanished.
Something was not right.
He looked around and found that his surroundings changing all of a sudden.
This was Genjutsu which Jin learned in his free time. He only has enough chakra to use weak Justu but it's perfect for right now as one hit would be enough.
Jin used the change and with an energy blast completely pushed the Crocodile into the water.
As Crocodile's sand-based powers were compromised by the contact with water, Jin saw his opportunity.
Now that the attack connected Jin sent a flurry of strikes, and he pummeled him, who was unable to defend himself in his weakened state. In a desperate final act, Crocodile attempted to escape the water's embrace, but it was too late. Jin's finishing blow knocked Crocodile unconscious and secured victory.
"Well I need to learn haki or staying in this world will be really hard." Jin wondered to himself.
"Now I have to find my crew. God knows what they are doing right now".
While Jin was thinking about this.
In the unforgiving desert of Arabasta, Zoro and Luffy both got lost.
Despite their abilities, they are still idiots, ultimately tasting the bitterness of defeat of being lost.
"I am hungry" Luffy whined.
