Plan of Action

(The request of Jake Sully)

With the sky people's return, the first thing dad did was to gather the war council under the tree of souls, bringing Neteyam and me with him.

Clan chief Olangi Akwey,

Clan chief Tayrangi Ikeyni and other Olo'eyktans / Clan chiefs, prominent warriors (with Yeyatley speaking on behalf of all of them), and Tsahiks were all there.

In deciding what to do, they consulted a Tsahìk, Pentìyaru, she was very old, she had this scar on her left face, blinding her, she was also the one who granted us a new home tree, on behalf of the council.

Recounting the tragic consequences of the war near the tree of souls, they finally opted to forego attacking and to keep the peace, much to my father's displease.

After the meeting,

Father was pulled aside by Yeyatley, saying something about how he shouldn't blame himself for the fate of the fallens and he abides by the decision to not attack.

We got to talk to Akwey, an Olo'eyktan

Of the Olangi clan, a horse clan of the plains. He was one of the tribes that joined during the Pandoran war, together with Ikeyni.

He even said he saw our parents in Neteyam. The son of Toruk Makto.

Stating that he will continue to support my father and his choices.

..

It had been a year since then and a lot has happened. My father and Norm found 10 RDA ships near Hell's gate

Other taronyu turned warriors, were then trained in zero gravity.

The na'vi confronted Frances Ardmore, the new general, in outer space. During this time, a lot of people died, including two of my father's human allies, named John Winslow and Meg.

We unfortunately lost Hell's gate to the RDA and maybe even Pandora.

They had also built an impenetrable 3d city, named Bridgehead. It had strong walls, cannons, and defensive system. It was surrounded by over two miles of bare land, an attempt to get away from eywa's clutches.

Together with neteyam we had been helping and learning from father, more so for me, for I help in planning tactics from down below to get rid of them.

We have a nice and tight coordination between our ground and air assets.

We mostly hit their outlaying sites, like their mines, pipelines, and supply chains.

Our attacks has become much more frequent after plundering more weapons, the maglev (train) being our frequent attack yet.

.....

.

In the first month of their return, my brother and sister had become much more pressured to help and reach to the height that we had become.

Lo'ak seemed to be much more burdened by this thought.

We told him that he does not need to be pressured and to be patient until he is old enough.

But with the war and us earning our rights much earlier than him.

At the age of 14, he thinks he had waited enough.

...

Brother Lo'ak being the son of an Olo'eyktan, was the first to go up and take the task.

He had failed miserably, being thrown off a cliff, he (thankfully) landed on a ledge but was bruised up badly.

My sister on the other hand, just had to walk up and ask it to be her friend.

Every other taronyu had succeeded in their task but with the somber air coming from our family, flying back, we were all quiet.

Probably because of shame or pride, after three days of healing he thread the trials again, together with his buddies, spider and Kiri. With the mercy of Eywa he safely returns victorious but not without an earful from our parents.

He was thankfully just in time for the ceremony.

I personally painted my sister's face. Telling her how proud I am of her and Lo'ak.

They have grown so much, still so hardheaded but they personally earned their right inside the tribe. I kept smiling watching them. Even though there is a threat outside.

I wouldn't trade them for anything in this moon.

.....

.

Eywa provides. She protects us.

Everytime the sky people comes any closer, a flock of banshees attack them. Killing many, but this is not a long term solution. They know we are somewhere within this mountains, one day they will find a way to get through eywa's guard. It might be a manless drone or worse, another avatar.

I state to the group of leaders surrounding a round map table. They murmur.

"After getting through eywa's guards, once finding this cave system, we'll all be cooked fish. I want you all to think long and hard to get rid of this problem, ideas, I need ideas, meanwhile, let's talk about our next attack..(I zoom in on a watch tower) this is another sentry/guard post, it has lots of people going in and out with crates of what we think are high-tech weaponry and some form of drills but we have reasons to believe this is a trap. For one thing, it's too close to Bridgehead."

"If you know this, why risk it?" Totonuakun, (he doesn't exist and so does his family) one of the leaders asked in anger.

"I said I think! I think It's a trap, but the loot is too good to pass.

If we succeed on taking it down, we wouldn't have to worry about weapons for a long time and besides, I need the equipment." I said irritated.

"Bah! It's too risky. I have lost too many good warriors."

"Have you ever thought that it might have been your fault that you lost your men?" Gasp rang around the table

Totonuakun was one of the many that didn't want to join in the training program. He only sent his son but not his men. He unfortunately joined at the last minute and now he joined the war. It must have been a sore spot for me to mention it.

Father looks at me, thinking maybe I went to far. I motion to him that I can handle it, he nods.

"How dare you talk to my husband like that and why should we even listen to a youngling like you?!" Makiea, the leader's wife hiss.

"It's because we are at a round table, it signifies EQUALITY" I really want to pop now.

"We will hear no more of this nonsense. Son! stand up, we shall take our leave"-Makiea

This causes a hysteria between the others, should they also leave? They ask.

Oh now I'm really mad, I stand up, hitting the table

"NO ONE'S LEAVING!!!" My shout booming, they all look at me shocked.

My dad pats me in the shoulder, which causes me to look there and glare, which I quickly retract. I cover my eyes.

How dare I glare at my father like that.

I quickly controlled my emotions, looking sideways.

I say."Sha'im, sit!" He readily sits down, not daring to look up at his father and mother.

Totonuakun looks between me and his son and sighs. He motions for his wife to sit down. Although a bit reluctant, she follows.

I breathe in

"This is not the time to fight between us. We are here to set aside our differences for a common enemy. If your not gonna help then by all means do leave. We need an ally more than ever, not to make another enemy"

I sit and wait for them to leave. They look at each other. My father is just looking at me, wondering what I was planning. They were gonna stand up when.

"I remember when..." They stop what they were planning when Go-to,(also doesn't exist) another elder, brother of my mother's father. "...the sky people first landed from the stars, they bring peace. Taught us language, teaching us many other things and in turn we teach them our ways. We welcomed them with open arms...that is until, they shot Sylwanin" at the mention of her name. Mother grows sad, while father tries to comfort her.

"Sylwanin was so curious, full of questions, and bright. When they shot her, there was no more stopping them. They continued to wreck havock to this day. Bringing destruction and fear..."

"I think, more than ever, you should listen to what leylac (it's leylac for them cause that's just how they pronounce my name, lilac) has to say"

They all nod in understanding.

I look at him, grateful, he just shrugs.

I look at the flickering map that was the only source of light in this room like cave. I tap trying to stabilize it, after a few seconds I finally did.

I clear my throat

"Now where was I?.."

.....

After the meeting, Go-to went to pull my father aside.

"Your daughter has the potential to be a future leader..." That was all we heard before they moved farther away. With what we heard, I suddenly saw my brothers ear fold down and his freckles turns a shade of darker blue, signifying that he was upset.

I tap him on the shoulders.

"Don't worry brother, you will always be the best"

As we went out, a na'vi girl blocks our way.

"Hello captain leylac aaand hiii neteyam. Is the meeting already done?" she said with a sickly sweet voice. She bats her eyes and tucks her hair in her ear. I'm not gonna watch thisಠಿ_ಠ, am I?

"Hello, hoel'eier" he say uncomfortable.

"Neteyam how many times do I have to tell you, you can just call me Hoe" she said still batting her eyes and touching my brother's shoulder.

I laughed, what was her name again?

She looks at me, puzzled but then looks at him again. Which makes him visibly much more uncomfortable.

"There is this little gathering, wanna come?"

He looks at me for help but Eywa only knows how I just wanna eat and watch them.

"No, I'm sorry, I'm tired from the meeting. Maybe next time?"

"You always say next time!" she huffs and then turns around to walk away.

I laughed, he looks so tired, of all of this. Come on brother, let's take a rest. I still have a raid to do tomorrow.

.....

Sylwanin, was Neytiri's elder sister. She was Tsu'tey's bride to be and tsahik-in-training, until she was shot and Neytiri was forced to take her place.

Sylwanin was Grace's student.

She hated what the RDA did and their work on Pandora.

She and other young Na'vis set a bulldozer on fire in protest.

They ran to Grace's school to seek sanctuary but it was too late, they were followed by RDA soldiers, shooting her right at the doorway, in front of Neytiri.

Tsu'tey was so heartbroken, holding unto her dead body.

This incident led to Mo'at and Eytukan's decision to ban humans from the Omatikaya clan. Resulting in the closure of the schoolhouse and forcing Grace to study the Na'vi in secret.
