The Maid

That morning, Helena and Ethan had breakfast with Rebecca and her maid. As usual, Ethan and Rebecca livened up the atmosphere with their chatter. Helena then bid farewell to Ethan as she wanted to take a walk around to further investigate.

"I'll accompany you," Ethan offered. However, Helena declined because she wanted to be alone to concentrate better.

Meanwhile, Ethan, who had initially felt annoyed by being ignored by Helena, actually enjoyed his time chatting with Rebecca. The old woman turned out to be very delightful. She enjoyed traveling to different areas, keeping Ethan entertained with every story she told.

As for Helena, she was busy wandering around and observing every corner of her small hotel. Her grandfather seemed to have injected considerable funds into the hotel after her father passed away. Indeed, every corner of the rooms was well maintained, just like the Arkwright Hotel in the other branches.
