Chapter 69 Bella Learns a Tough Lesson

Bella's heart raced as she hit the brakes hard, the loud screeching sound hurting her ears. She barely avoided crashing, leaving her shaking over the steering wheel, her heart pounding fast. Breathing heavily, Bella felt a mix of anger and fear. The driver of the van she almost hit didn't even look at her or say sorry.

Feeling mad, Bella rolled down her window and yelled at the van, "What's wrong with you? Why don't you get yourself a knife or a rope if you want to kill yourself?"

The van didn't make a sound, which made Bella even angrier. She was used to being treated well and couldn't stand being ignored, especially by someone driving an old, beat-up van. It seemed like the driver thought they were better than her.

Anger clouded Bella's thoughts. She opened her car door and marched over to the van, banging on the rusty door loudly.
