The Cursed Beastkins

After successfully capturing the enemy's camp, the empress transported the beastkins back to the border so we could start their treatment of the curse.

I didn't know it at first, but the war against Kalusia was an event that we wouldn't be able to solve for a while.

While we were capturing one of their camps, dozens of other skirmishes were taking place in different parts of the desert. Some were closer to Aridonia, others to the Droman Empire.

In the new camp, the empress explained to me that their strategy was to push the army of Kalusia back to their country, but that would mean that we had to fight them across the desert.

The more pressure we put on them, the more they would have to retreat until eventually returning to their territory, but that also meant that we would be fighting deep in the desert for a long time.
