Creepy Bug Lady

"Crackling--"

Under the shining light, a delicate and crystal-clear little bug girl looked at me with frightened big eyes, flapping her white wings desperately trying to fly. Unfortunately, due to the large mushroom cap above us blocking her way, every time she flew up, she hit the mushroom cap before reaching enough height and fell down again.

Fortunately, the little bug girl wasn't too foolish. After several attempts to fly higher failed, she found out that flying sideways was more feasible and eventually fluttered away in that direction.

"Smells so good."

As the little bug girl passed by me, fine powder from her wings fell off leaving behind a strong intoxicating fragrance.

Sniffing that scent reminded me of the story Xie Yilin told me. I knew this fragrance was not ordinary; it had not only an aphrodisiac effect but also a powerful love potion effect.

Thinking like this in my mind made me feel a surge of heat rising from my lower abdomen. My whole body felt hot and my breathing became heavy.

"It's really strange how I keep encountering these kinds of aphrodisiacs lately? Could it be because my luck with women has exploded?"

I chased after the little bug girl while muttering to myself in frustration.

"I don't think it's your luck exploding; rather your lust is growing." YunQingYue followed beside me with disdainful words towards what I said earlier.

"What do you mean?" I asked her somewhat annoyed as I looked at her

"Heheh... Didn't you smell that scent earlier? But back then you didn't have much reaction either. Now suddenly you're all fired up just because you saw what that little bug girl looks like? Liu YiHeng ah! You are something else! Don't forget how small she is! It's ridiculous for someone like you to get excited over something like this." YunQingYue scolded me with a sneer.

"Heheh... Although she's small, she doesn't look like a pure baby, right?" I smiled awkwardly and then secretly activated the Ling Tai Secret Technique to eliminate the aphrodisiac effect caused by that fragrance.

Fortunately, this drug was different from the lust potion released by that lust bug. With just a little effort on my part, I managed to resist it.

"Is that so?" YunQingYue heard what I said and couldn't help but laugh mischievously. "Wait until you see her true face later; you probably won't have such thoughts anymore."

Upon hearing this, I couldn't help but be moved and suddenly remembered something. Therefore, what I saw was only a hallucination rather than her true appearance. However, YunQingYue could see her real form because she was a spiritual body and not affected by the perfume.

Thinking about this in my mind, I curiously asked YunQingYue: "So what does that insect woman really look like? Is it a big moth? Is its appearance disgusting?"

"Huh? What big moth?" Upon hearing my words, YunQingYue looked at me with some confusion.

"The story Xie Yilin told you about. Haven't you heard it too? She said these insect women are actually giant moths; isn't that right?" I frowned at YunQingYue and said.

"Well...if you have to say they're moths then sure but it doesn't seem quite right either way. Anyway, they look very strange so if you're curious go take a look yourself instead of asking me because describing someone else's appearance is not my forte." YunQingYue shrugged her shoulders.

Her words made me even more curious so without hesitation; I increased my speed and caught up with the little insect woman in no time. Then raising my palm towards her direction while wrapping around her with Qi energy before grabbing onto thin air causing her to fall from the sky.

"Whimper...Woo...Ji..." The little insect woman struggled and looked at me in horror after being caught.

I walked over, frowning as I looked at her delicate, fragile appearance that was so beautiful it could be shattered with a single breath. I couldn't bring myself to think of her as a giant moth.

"To break the illusion effect of the perfume, she needs to bleed so you can smell the stench of her blood." I frowned and said to YunQingYue: "But I really don't have the heart to hurt her. So, let's take her back first and ask for their opinions before doing anything."

"Whatever you want," YunQingYue replied as she returned to Purple Mansion Space.

Seeing this situation, I took out a bundle of rope from my backpack and prepared to tie up the little insect woman.

When I was tying her up, my fingers accidentally touched her body and felt a soft and delicate touch. The situation definitely didn't seem like that of a moth covered in fuzz and powder.

This made me curious. The effect of the drug was too powerful; it could even alter one's sense of touch. It was truly amazing.

While I was tying the rope, the little bug girl looked at me with innocent big eyes, pleading for mercy. She clearly wanted me to release her.

Honestly, I couldn't bear her pitiful look. So reluctantly, I put away the rope and held her small hand while gesturing with my other hand.

I tried to lower my voice as much as possible and spoke gently to her.

She obviously didn't understand what I said but seemed to feel something through my eyes and expression. Then she blinked subconsciously, stood up from the ground, whimpered a few sounds - which naturally were incomprehensible for me - but by observing her facial expressions during this time period, it appeared that she might have been telling me about something very painful because tears flowed down from those big eyes of hers while speaking.

Oh dear! Seeing such a pitiful appearance made my heart ache so much that all I could do at that moment was hold onto her hand tightly while nodding towards her conveying goodwill before wiping away those tears softly then comforting her in a gentle tone until she calmed down emotionally after which we walked back together along the way we came from earlier on.

Her figure is too petite; completely resembling that of a child's size hence leading us walking being quite strenuous for both parties involved thus after taking several steps, I made up my mind and held her horizontally in my arms. Then, while smiling and winking at her, I increased our speed as we ran forward.
