Stealing Purifying Bell Grass

Despite the fact he was outnumbered, badly, Ryker pressed on. After all, there is no way he would pass the chance to get the Purifying Bell Grass.

While he could still ignore other Grade 9 Genesis Herbs, he could not do the same with the Purifying Bell Grass. After all, it is an important auxiliary material in refining an improved version of the Blood Purifying Pills.

So, he could not let it go. However, with him being pushed back by the vultures, he needs to think of a plan that allows him to escape or incapacitate them.

He decided to flee first, entering the shadow before taking flight. The Blood Vultures searched everywhere for him but did not find any sign.

Letting out a loud screech, the vultures flew back to their nest, some beasts remained to keep watch of the Purifying Bell Grass.

Ryker let out a sigh of relief. While he managed to kill some, maybe around 5 to 9, he lost count when he was about to be drowned by feathers, their numbers were too overwhelming.

He then thought of the best plan. He could hunt down all of the blood Vultures down but the plan was quickly rejected.

After all, there is no telling how powerful the leader of the Blood Vulture's swarm is, especially with it being able to command 4 3rd Stage Genesis Sea equivalent Blood Vultures.

The other plans of slaughtering the sentries before grabbing the herb are also rejected, namely because of the beasts' good sense of smell.

As long as there is blood in the area, the Blood Vultures will swarm them, killing if the beasts or cultivators are still not dead.

However, if the prey out too much of a fight, the Blood Bultures will leave them alone.

"Blood," he said out loud to himself, a plan began to form in his mind.

"This should be enough," considering the pile of Tier 9 Genesis Beast in front of them, it should be enough to make some weaker Genesis Sea experts weep in shame, especially since the one to achieve such a feat is not even at the Genesis Lake realm, yet.

He quickly put the piles inside his storage rings, not wanting the Blood Vultures to come so soon. He then began to trek toward the area where the Blood Vultures came from.

He soon spotted a large rocky outcrop where the Blood Vultures make their nest. Without a word, he used Shadow Traversing to get to a clearing nearby, where he could sense several powerful beasts, scavengers like the Blood Vultures.

"Bone-Devouring Hyenas," he muttered. Similar to the Blood Vultures, the Hyena also hunt weakened prey but it could still hunt a strong one as well.

It also has a strong sense of smell, so it can detect the carcasses with ease. With no other words, Ryker put the pile of carcasses on the field before retreating. He is not interested in an outright battle between the two powerful clans.

As he made his way toward the direction of the Purifying Bell Grass, he could hear wings beating. He looked upwards and marveled at the sight.

A large Blood Vulture, its wing blood red with a wingspan that was twice his height, flew to the place where he had put the carcass pile.

Thankfully beast did not have strong Soul Cultivation, with the exception of some that specialized in it. So, he unscrupulously used his Soul Sense to detect the might of the Blood Vulture.

He froze the moment he was able to determine the beast's cultivation realm.

"H-high Tier 9, and from the look of it, already reached the peak," he muttered to himself before making his way to the Purifying Bell Grass, hoping the vultures would not destroy it for some reason.

It is unlikely but he did not want to bet on such a thing.

Thankfully, the herbs remained intact and the sentries remained the same. He quickly went to the Blood Vultures's back, the sentries were low Tier 9 with strength equal to the 3rd Stage.

He easily dispatches the two, his Soul Technique killing the two instantly. He put them inside his storage ring before going to the Purifying Bell Grass.

He collected all of it before running to a secluded area, where he already created a portal to the Hidden Ancient Mansion.

He entered the spatial artifact before running to the garden, where he transplanted it. He let out a sigh before looking at the sign with a complicated face.

*Any plants put here will be managed by the gardeners so feel free to put precious herbs inside.*

Exciting the Hidden Ancient Mansion, but not before talking to his lovers, he let out a sigh of relief as no powerful beasts approached the portal.

After all, when there is no trustworthy personnel nearby, a lot of things could happen to the spatial artifact.

He quickly moved to the road, but he then thought of something, "I wonder, how is the fight going," muttered to himself.

Ryker arrived at the outskirts of the clearing, where he could have a front-row seat of the clash between two powerful scavenger clans.

He had already seen the leader of the Blood Vultures, but he still did not see the leader of the Bone Devouring Hyena.

So, he took the chance to observe the leader of the Hyenas. The creature is pale, white fur with slightly darker spots littering all over its body.

Above its paws, bone seemed to emerge and formed some sort of gauntlets on all of its limbs. On its face, a mask made out of bones covered it, the hyena growling at the vultures.

Vultures returned the favor, screeching loudly and causing some of the weaker hyenas to tremble.

The hyena growled before letting out an ear-shattering laughter, sending some of the vultures to fall onto the earth.

The leader of the Blood Bultures screeched back before it began to circle it. Ryker almost holds his breath. After all, the awe-inspiring sight of two powerful clans who began to engage each other took his breath away.

He planned to watch until the end, hoping to gain something or at least watch how two powerful beasts battled against one another.

The vulture swooped at the hyena, its talon scratched against the creature's bony plating. The hyena merely laughed before it jumped and used its armored back to hit the creature.

The vulture easily avoided such a simple attack but could not react when the hyena threw a claw at the creature, grazing the tips of its wing.

Letting out a screech, a powerful aura of blood appeared on the battlefield. For someone that did not know the significance would have thought it was nothing.

For Ryker, he could tell immediately what was happening.

"The Blood Vultures had a pseudo-domain!?"
